Arrested: Lisa Chacon (60 YO) 

Deputies made contact with a female during a welfare check. She was found to have a warrant for her arrest for failure to comply with conditions of probation and was booked at the detention facility. 

Case #2026000330/ Aggravated DWI/ 1/16/26

Assigned- Deputy J. Watson

Location- NM 599/ Airport

Arrested- Miguel Alvarado (25 year old male/ Mesa, AZ)

Deputies were dispatched to NM 599 near mile marker 8 in reference to a reckless driver call. A vehicle description was given as well as a partial plate. Sgt. Webb located the vehicle on NM 599 at airport stopped in the middle of the roadway. He conducted a traffic stop and Deputy Watson Arrived on scene to conduct a DWI investigation. During the investigation, the driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided a breath sample that was at or above a .16 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Location- Calle Lorca/ St. Michaels (Evergreen Apts)

Arrested- Josiah Duran (43 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Josiah was contacted during a suspicious person call. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Case #2026000327, 328/ Warrant Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Concealing ID/ 1/16/26

Assigned- Deputy J. Watson

Entering- Corporal D. Moore

Location- Calle Lorca/ St. Michaels

Arrested- Joseph Gallegos (31 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Deputies contacted Joseph Gallegos during a traffic stop. Initially he provided deputies the wrong name, because he had an outstanding warrant. His true identity was later discovered and he was arrested on the warrant. Upon being searched, two small baggies of narcotics were located. He was later booked into the SF ADC.

Case #2026000325/Driving while revoked/1-15-2026

Location:Private Drive

Arrested: Zachary Martinez 33YOM

On January 15, 2026, Deputy ran NM license plate which returned as expired. A traffic stop was initiated, the driver’s license was revoked pursuant to a DUI and he was taken into custody.  Arrested was transported to Santa Fe ADC was booked accordingly and without incident.

Victim 78 YOM

On January 15, 2026, Victim reported he was defrauded of $2,450 after receiving a counterfeit cashier’s check during an attempted online vehicle sale. The check was later confirmed fraudulent, resulting in the unrecoverable loss of his funds.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. He was found to have two active warrants for his arrest and was taken to the detention center and booked.

Arrested: Gabriel Contreras (51 YO)

Deputies were dispatched to a call for disorderly conduct. Contact was made with the subject who had an active warrant for arrest. Subject was taken to the detention center and booked. 

Case #2026000295/ Aggravated DWI, Careless Driving/ 1/15/26

Location- 100 block of Camino San Jose (La Cienega) 

Arrested- Silverio Vargas Mendoza (37 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Deputies were dispatched to a crash on Camino San Jose. Upon arrival, deputies contacted the driver of the vehicle that had crashed. He displayed signs of impairment and was arrested. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided a breath sample that was at or above a .16 BRAC. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Johnny Anaya (36 year old male/ Santa Fe)

Johnny was contacted by deputies after he was seen looking into businesses. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. He was later booked into the SF ADC.
