Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. The subject had an active warrant for her arrest out of Rio Arriba County Magistrarte Court for failure to appear on speeding and evidence of registration charges. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Arrested: Jose Ruvalcaba- Rascon 21 YOM

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. While checking the driver's information, it was confirmed that the driver had a revoked driver's license due to a prior DWI. The driver was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Deputies made contact with the subject during a suspicious vehicle call for service. The subject had an active warrant for his arrest out of Santa Fe Magistrate Court for failure to appear on a no proof of insurance change. The subject was arrested and booked into Saanta Fe ADC without incident.

The victim advised she was scammed into buying thousands of dollars worth of gift cards after receiving a text message from unknown persons.

Case #2025001297 / Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle / 03/04/2025

Location: Entrada De Montoya

Stolen: 2005, gray in color, Honda Accord; NM-9386HP

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.  The vehicle was taken from the reporting person's property without consent.  The case is under investigation.

Case #2025001313 / Battery Against a Household Member / 03/03/2025

Arrested: Richard Baca (61 YOM)

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a domestic disturbance.  It was determined that Mr. Baca battered a household member and was subsequently arrested.  He was booked accordingly

Case #2025001302 // Driving While License Revoked, No Registration, Warrant Service - 3/2/2025

Arrested: Haud Hayward (56 YO)

Traffic stop was initiated due to a vehicle not having registration. Contact was made with the driver and he was identified and found to have multiple warrants for his arrest as well as a revoked drivers license due to a prior DUI. Suspect was booked at the detention facility and charged. 

Case #2025001309 / Unattended Death / 03/03/2025

Decedent: 87 YOF

Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a cardiac arrest.  Medical personnel were on scene and advised the patient was beyond life-saving measures.  The decedent suffered from several health issues.  There were no signs of suspicious activity identified.  OMI performed a separate investigation.
