On this date victim reported that sometime between 3:00pm 3/25/09 and this date at about 7:00am, some unknown person broke the rear passenger window on his GMC truck. Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility
On 3-26-2009 at 1:52 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location when he made a wide radius left turn and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and subsequently submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test of which the results are pending. The vehicle was not equipped with an ignition interlock as required by the restrctions of his New Mexico driver's license which is otherwise revoked. The vehicle was not registered or insured. The suspect was in possession of a revoked driver's license.

Arrested: Ernesto Sandoval - age 22, Cerrillos, NM
Deputies responded to St. Vincent's Hospital regarding a 17 year old female suffering from injuries to her head and arms. She reported that her boyfriend had caused the injuries because he became angry at her. Deputies proceeded to the victim and suspect's residence in Cerrillos, NM and located the above suspect. Additional evidence of the battery was found at the residence and the suspect was placed under arrest. He was additionally charged with child endangerment and assault against a household member. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

An orange pill was located in the Detention Center. This pill was identified as a substance called, “ Suboxone”. This is a narcotic given to help with withdrawals from an opiate. Further investigation is pending.

On this date I responded to the above listed address regarding a breaking and entering which had occurred between the dates of 03/07/2009 and 03/22/2009. The above listed victim sated the unknown individual entered his residence through a rear window which was unlocked by removing the window screen and pushing in the window. Once inside the residence the individual removed numerous electronic items and several household items. Father reported finding his 24 year old son deceased in an abandoned structure in a remote area. Deputies responded, as well as the Criminal Investigation Division, and conducted the investigation. Preliminary findings are that it was an apparent suicide; however, the investigation is still ongoing.

ARRESTED: MATTHEW CORDOVA, 19 YOA MALE & DAVID ROHWER, 48 YOA MALE.
CHARGES: POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE TO WIT: HEROIN & COCAINE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE AND SPEEDING
On this date Matthew Cordova was south bound on Lopez Lane at a high rate of speed (45 mph in a posted 25 mph speed zone). He was stopped and was foundto have a suspended drivers license. During investigation Matthew and his passenger, David Rohwer were both found to be in possession of cocaine and heroin. Matthew was also found to have drug paraphernalia inside of his vehicle. Both were taken to the Adult Detention Center on above listed charges. The vehicle was impounded.
