0208008066 Trafficking/Possession Controlled Substance

Charges: Trafficking a controlled substance: Cocaine, Possession of a controlled substance to wit: Cocaine

On 9/16/08, approx 1006pm, Deputies respondedto the front entrance of the Tierra Real MHP, in reference to a fight in progress, involving gang members with a gun, driving a black car. A black car, 2003 Lexus IS-300 4d was located in the drive way of 6404 Vuelta Ventura. Two male subjects were located inside. The driver(suspect),exited his vehicle, and a plastic bag containing 15 smaller plastic bindles was located on the door treshold. $1,018.00 in cash was located in the center console. No weapons were found, and both subjects denied being in a fight. It appears that the crime check female was calling in a drug deal. Suspect arrested, charged,booked accordingly.

Stolen: Miller Welder 140 Mig, Hammer Drill, and a Grinder

Value: $1,650.00

On 09-16-08 the victim reported that sometime between 7:45 am and 2:30pm, unknown person(s) pryed open a garage door on his residence. Once inside the above items were taken. Case is currently under investigation.


0208008060/ D.W.I./ 09-16-2008

Location: Airport Road and Center Drive

Arrested: Victor Butler age: 43

Charges: D.W.I., Careless Driving, Display of Registration, and No Insurance

Above individual was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the above location. The above person was showing signs of impairment and submitted to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The above individual was then placed under arrest and submitted to a Breath Test. His results were a .13/.12 BrAC. It was also found that he was operating his vehicle in an unsafe manner and that the vehicle was not registered or insured. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Suspect: Pending

Charges: Pending

Victim reported that he returned  home at about 4:00pm and found that someone had attempted to gain entry into his residence through a dog door. The victim stated that it did not appear that anything was taken from his residence.


0208008061/ Aggravated D.W.I/ 09-16-2008

Location: SR 344 MM4- Edgewood, NM

Arrested: Lucy Huesser age 50

Charges: Agg. D.W.I., Roadway Laned for Traffic, Open Container, and Restraint Required

Vehicle was observed heading north on SR 344 on the shoulder of the road. Upon making contact with the driver, she stated that she was heading north on State Road 528 in Rio Rancho. The driver also showed signs of impairement. Standardized Field Sobriety Test was conducted and the driver was subsequently placed under arrest. The driver was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Act and refused to submit to testing. The driver was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Stolen: Numerous pieces of metal

Value:$4,000.00

Victim reported that sometime between 09-15-2008 and 09-16-2008 someone stole several pieces of metal valued at about $4,000.00. Suspect(s) possibly climbed over a 6 foot wall and passed the metal pieces through an opening in fence. Suspects are pending at this time.


0208008020 Aggrated Battery/Shooting at an Occupied Dwelling 09-16-08

Deputy Assigned: Ray Villanueva

Commander: Lt. Marco Lucero

Location: 3157 Jemez Rd. SFNM

On the above date, officers responded to the above location regarding shots fired.  Upon arrival contact was made with a female victim with injury to her head.  The victim advised that she was sleeping in her bedroom when she was awaken by the sound of gunfire.  She then felt pain to her head and noticed that she had been hit.  Her injury did not appear to be life threatening, and she was transported to the hospital by ambulance.  Deputies, City Police and NMSP conducted a search of the area in an attempt to locate the suspect(s) to no avail.

The scene was turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division for follow-up.

On 9/15/08 deputies made a traffic stop and made contact with suspect.  Suspect was found to have an active warrant out of Santa Fe Municipal Court for failure to comply with conditions of probation.  Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention.

Location:  100 block of Tano Alto Road

On this date victim reported between 0800 am and 0600 pm unknown person (s) entered his home through an unlocked rear door.  Suspect then removed a 40" Samsung Flat Screen TV, causing damage to the wall.  Value of TV is about $1,000.00.  Case is under investigation.

On this date victim reported that unknown suspects entered his house through an open front door.  Victim was awaken by suspect who wanted to sell him some marijuana and victim told him "No."  So suspect grabbed victims pants from the floor and ran out the door.  Victims pants, wallet and cash were valued at about $400.00.  Suspect was not located at this time.  Case under investigation.
