LOCATION: Casa Rufina Rd., Santa Fe, NM
On 1-5-22, Deputies responded to location in reference to a stolen vehicle. Vehicle was taken from the parking lot while victim was inside the apartment. No suspect information is known at this time. The case is under investigation.

LOCATION: 167 US 84/285 Santa Fe County, NM
ARRESTEE: Juan Carbajal-Galdamez, 40YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the above location. Upon review of the drivers MVD record, it was discovered the above subject had was driving on a revoked drivers license. It was also learned through an NCIC check, the above subject had a warrant for his arrest. (Original Charge: DWI and Failure to provide proof of insurance.) The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center without incident.
Case#2023000071/ Agg Assault on a HHM and Battery on a HHM/1-4-23

LOCATION: 200 block on NM503 Santa Fe County, NM
ARRESTEE: Victoria Lopez, 28YOF, Santa Fe, NM
Deputy dispatched to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Once on scene and through investigation it was learned the suspect battered the victim by pushing him to the ground multiple times. Suspect then stood over victim armed with two knives and threatened him. Suspect believed victim was using witchcraft on her. Suspect later hit victim over the head with a broom. When contact was made with suspect, she resisted but was ultimately taken into custody, transported and booked into jail.
Case #2023000058 Burglary

Location: Hyde Park area, Santa Fe, NM
Suspect: Unknown
Deputies dispatched to a residential alarm. Upon arrival a patio door was observed to have signs of forced entry. Shoe impressions as well as surveillance footage showed a unidentified female exiting the above list vehicle and walking to the residence. Shoe impressions were also located exiting the residence and returning the street. The home owner will contact the SO when she returns to give items taken form the home, no firearms were kept at the residence.

Location: Viarrial Mobil Home Park, Santa Fe, NM
Suspect: Unknown
Deputies dispatched to location in reference to a burglary. The victim explained sometime between 820am and 630pm an unknown party gained access through a locked rear door. Approximately 500 dollars of costume jewelry was taken from the residence. Signs for forced entry were observed and shoe impressions were found at the residence.

Arrested: Jimmy Benavidez, 30 YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies learned the above subject has an active arrest warrant. Deputies went to the subjects residence and located him. Deputies placed subject into custody and booked him into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident. Original Charges: Aggravated battery on a household member.

Deputy responded to the above address in reference to a burglary. It was discovered the unknown male suspect, made entry through the garage door and took the above items.

While conducting their investigation it was learned the above suspect had two active arrest warrants. Original Charges: Receiving Stolen Property, Conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property.

Original Charges: (Case#2022007493- Possession of a controlled substance x 3, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no seat belts.) (Case#2022007494-Recieving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance x 2, and Resisting /evading an officer.)

While conducting their investigation the above suspect was found in possession of a handgun, further investigation through NCIC determined above suspect is a convicted felon.
