Deputy dispatched to the area of Eldorado in reference to a male who left the location intoxicated. Deputy located the vehicle near Sawmill Rd and St. Francis Dr. and conducted a traffic stop. Deputy noted signs of impairment and conducted a DWI investigation. Suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Sheriff's Office where a breath test was administered. The results of the breath test were at least double the legal limit. Subject was charged and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without incident.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. Through investigation it was determined the suspect battered his significant other. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe Count Adult Detention Facility.

Arrested: Chacon-Lucero, Sigifredo 33 YOM
Deputy dispatched to location in reference to correctional staff finding suspect with narcotics. Once on scene and through investigation it was learned the suspect had suspected Methamphetamine and suspected Fentanyl on his person. Suspect was charged and rebooked into jail.

Stolen: Camera equipment, coin collection
Deputy dispatched to location in reference to a burglary. Once on scene it was learned unknown suspect(s) forced entry by throwing a rock through the glass door. Once inside, they rummaged through boxes stealing aforementioned items. Case is under investigation.

On August 8, 2023 deputies served Christopher with warrants for his arrest while he was incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Jail. The warrants were for failing to pay fines on receiving transferring stolen property charges. Christopher was rebooked on the warrants.

On August 7, 2023 deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with Eugene who had outsatnding warrants for his arrest. The warrants were for failing to comply on forgery charges. Eugene was arrested and booked at the Santa Fe County Jail.

Stolen: Tools, .22 caliber rifle, ammunition
Deputies were diaptched to the above locatiion in reference to a burglary. Upon arrival deputies learned that the residence was unlawfully entered and several items were stolen. A camper on the property was also unlawfully entered and a .22 caliber rifle was taken from inside.

Subject was stopped after failing to stop at a posted stop sign. Subject admitted to consuming alchoholic beverages before driving. After submitting to SFST's, subject showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Subject was booked into SFADC without further incident.

Arrested: Sigifredo Chacon-Lucero, 33YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious person's call for service. They advised three individuals were walking around with hammers, looking into cars. Upon our arrival, the suspect fled and was apprehended. During the apprehension, he spit on a deputy. Two controlled substances were found on his person. Original Charges for Warrant Service: Case#4731- Shoplifting, Case#4730-Robbery and Larceny, Case#4729- Burglary of a motor vehicle and larceny. Subject was transported and booked into jail accordingly.
