On Monday, November 27, 2023, the above suspect was located conscious breathing, and unresponsive sitting in the driver seat of a vehicle idling. The vehicle struck a gate at the above location. The suspect remained unresponsive throughout the investigation. Open containers of alcoholic beverages were located inside the vehicle. The suspect was issued a summons for the above charges.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a Welfare Check and advised an assault occurred using a knife. The victim advised deputies, that his father had attacked him with a kitchen knife. The victim had sustained injuries from the attack. Mr. Castaneda was placed under arrest for aggravated battery. he was transported and booked into Santa Fe ADC.
