Stolen: CASH, Knife

On Friday, September 30th, 2022,  around 10:20 pm, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was found that the suspect(s) had fled prior to deputies arrival. Based on the investigation, suspects gained unlawful access to the property and stole cash and a knife. This incident remains under investigation.

LOCATION: US 84-285 E. FRONTAGE RD & MEYERS ROAD

ARRESTEE: FLORENTINA GONZALES, 37-YEAR-OLD, H/F, ESPANOLA RESIDENT

CHARGES: AGG. DWI (REFUSAL) AND CHILD ENDANAGERMENT

On 9-30-22 at about 11:28 p.m., RECC dispatched deputies to the Knights of Columbus Hall off the East Frontage Rd in Arroyo Secco. The call referenced a battery/ disorderly conduct subject on the property. 

Upon arrival, one of the parties involved was pointed out to deputies as she drove away from the location. The driver was stopped and identified as Florentina Gonzales. Gonzales displayed signs of impairment before and during the SFSTs. Gonzales was placed into custody and refused a chemical test. There was also a teenage minor child in the vehicle too. Gonzales was booked accordingly.

Suspect: Michael Ernest,38YOM, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in  reference to a domestic dispute. Deputies learned the above suspect battered the victim who is girlfriend. Suspect was arrested and booked into jail.

Decedent: 52 year old male

 

Decedent was found by a friend. the investigation revealed that there was history of drug use and alcoholism.

Location: NM14 and Camino Bajo

Suspect: Jamie Hughs,30YOF, Santa Fe, NM

Deputy witnesses the driver do an unlawful U turn and a traffic stop was performed. It was learned the driver was operating a vehicle with a revoked drivers license with an arrest clause from a previous DWI. Driver was arrested and booked into jail.

Suspect: Frank Griego, 41YOM, Tesuque NM.

Deputies witness a vehicle driving reckless near the intersection above. A traffic stop was performed and the driver showed signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest and the suspect provided two samples and had a BAC of .12 and .12.

Suspect: Huber Castro Estrada 26yom, Santa Fe NM.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a crash, While investigating, the above suspect was found to be intoxicated. The suspect refused chemical testing and was arrested and booked into jail.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a burglary. It was learned that an unknown suspect unlawfully entered a residence and stole items from within. No suspect information at this time.

Deputies responded to a report of an auto theft, victim reported that he took his vehicle to a mechanic in May 2022 and has not heard from them ever since. The vehicle was reported as stolen and was a 2013 land rover with New Mexico License Plate  462WXN of an unattended vehicle. The case is currently under investigation
