Location: Rabbit Road and Willow Back Road, Santa Fe County, NM
Arrested: Joshua Roybal, 29YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to a stalled vehicle. The reporting person stated he was flagged down by a person, whos vehicle was stuck on an embankment. The reporting person also advised that he felt the suspect (person) smelled of alcohol and was acting unusual. Deputies arrived on scene and learned the suspect ended up on the embankment earlier in the day. Deputies smelled an order of alcohol emitting from his expelled breath. When deputies were conducting their DWI investigation, the suspect began to become boisterous and clinch his fists. For deputies safety, deputies advised the suspect he was going to be detained. While placing handcuffs on the suspect he pulled away and attempted to flee. Deputies were able to gain control of the suspect. Suspect was placed under arrest for the above crime, transported and booked into jail.

On the above date, it was learned by the Victim an unknown person gained unauthorized entry into her mailbox. The victim stated several checks were stolen and cashed at an unknown location for $850.00.

Traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for not being able to drive within its lane of travel. Driver showed signs of impairment and was driving with a minor inside the vehicle. Driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

Traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle which the registration was returning as being stolen . Driver was placed under arrest and found in possession of blue pills (Fentanyl) on his person. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a domestic violence situation. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the above subject assaulted two household members. During the altercation, the subject pushed a household member. The subject fled the residence before the deputies' arrival.

Deputy conducted traffic stop and it was learned the driver had an active warrant for his arrest. Driver was found to be in possession of several Oxycodone pills. Suspect was charged and booked.
