On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, deputies made contact with a victim who advised they had been contacted by what was believed to be a deputy from SFSO. The victim was advised they had a warrant and needed to pay $3000. The victim complied and sent the money. This case remains under investigation.

Warrant service conducted near Callejon Urraca and Avenida El Nido. Ruben Rendon was located and identified to have a several outstanding warrants and was in possession of a stolen firearm. Mr. Rendon was booked into ADC without incident.

Arrested: Uribe-Torres, Juan
Deputy responded to the jail in reference to an inmate being in possession of suspected Fentanyl. Once on scene and through investigation it was learned, the suspect inadvertently dropped one blue pill in front of Correctional staff. A further search of inmate revealed he was in possession of more suspected Fentanyl. Suspect was charged and re-booked into jail with new charges.

While Deputies were investigating another matter, they learned the suspect had an active warrant for his arrest. Subject was placed under arrest, transported and booked into Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Deputy dispatched to location in reference to a disorderly male sleeping in a vehicle. Contact was made with subject who had two active warrants for his arrest for Breaking & Enterng (2023004085) and Criminal damage over $1000 (2023004086). Subject was placed under arrest, transported and booked into Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Victim: 23 YOF
Stolen: Brown Coach wallet, Credit cards, Social Security card, Medium sized tan backpack
Deputy made contact with victim who reported unknown suspect(s) unlawfully entered her unlocked vehicle and stole above listed items. IPad was later located at a residence and returned to the victim. Other items are outstanding. Case is under investigation.
2023004084/ Death Investigation

Deceased: Wilder, Tina 57 YOF
Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a cardiac arrest. Upon arrival medical personnel were attempting life saving measures. Life saving measures were unsuccessful, and Ms. Wilder passed away. Family advised Ms. Wilder had heart problems. No foul play suspected. OMI determined time of death to be 03:40 AM.
