Deputies were dispatched to an assistance call reference to a highly intoxicated male. Upon arrival, Deputies attempted to speak with individual who began threatening deputies with violence as they awaited the arrival of medical personnel. Suspect then was being detained and battered a Deputy and resisted arrest. He was taken into a custody after a brief struggle. He was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital where he received a medical clearance to be incarcerated. He was then booked into SFADC without incident.

On Saturday, September 24th, 2022 deputies responded to the above area to assist the Tesuque Tribal Police Department. Upon arrival, officers stated during the course of a crash investigation, they discovered the above driver had a revoked driver's license, due to a previous DWI. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked without incident.

On Sunday, September 25th, 2022 deputies responded to the above area to assist Pojoaque Police with a motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, it was found that the above driver had crashed his motor vehicle. The driver displayed signs of impairment and he was placed under arrest. He later provided a breath sample, which showed his alcohol content to be above the legal limit. He was booked without incident into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On the evening hours on 9-24-2022, Sgt. Cullison stopped a suspicious vehicle on a remote piece of property. This area is known for underage parties, illegal bonfires, and reported gunfire. The occupants were found to be minors in possession of alcoholic beverages. During the investigation a loaded firearm was found. The occupant sitting adjacent to the firearm was taken into custody. This case is cleared by arrest.

Deputies contacted the victim in reference to a fraud. The victim advised he called a number that popped up on his computer alerting of a “virus.” Scammers had the victim purchase $1500 in Apple gift cards. No further action taken.

Deputies observed a stolen motor vehicle driving north on NM 14. Deputies looked for the vehicle locating and following it. The suspect then drove the wrong way on the diverging diamond without provocation. The driver then drove through a field and got stuck near Mutt Nelson. He fled on foot and while deputies were setting up a perimeter, the suspect entered a victim’s home in the area, demanding their vehicle keys. Suspect then fled the area in a green Chevrolet Equinox. Victim obtained a GPS location of the vehicle. Vehicle was ultimately located at the Siler Speedway with the suspect inside. Suspect backed into a SFSO patrol unit attempting to flee. Deputies then apprehended the individual who was combative. The suspect was taken to the hospital for a medical clearance because he ingested fentanyl prior to his apprehension. While at the hospital the suspect slipped his cuffs as a nurse was checking his vitals. The suspect ran a short distance and deputies caught him. The suspect resisted and was placed back into hand restraints. As he was trying to flee he pushed over damaging hospital equipment. He was medically cleared and booked accordingly into SFADC. Both vehicles were returned to respectful owners.

On 9-23-22, Sgt. Cullison observed a motorist run a red light at the intersection of US 285 and Avenida Vista Grande. Upon conducting a traffic stop, there were signs of impairment on the driver. Deputy Lujan took over the investigation, which yielded an arrest. Baca refused to submit to SFSTs. Baca was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

CHARGES: DWI (3RD), ASSAULT, CRIMINAL DAMAGE, RECKLESS DRIVING AND CRIMINAL TRESPASS
In the early morning hours of 9-23-22, Deputy Rivera was dispatched to the area of Dusty Lane off NM 472, reference to a man beating on a residential door and making threats. During the course of the investigation, Deputy Rivera learned the driver of a motor vehicle had drove through a property fence and across posted property before headed to another residence, where he was found by law enforcement. The driver, Jimmy Jay Lile Kirlin was showing signs of impairment and had an odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person and breath. Kirlin refused to submit to a SFST test. Based on the eyewitness's statements and on-scene evidence, Kirlin was placed into custody without incident. Kirlin was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
