Deputies dispatched to a residential alarm. Upon arrival a patio door was observed to have signs of forced entry. Shoe impressions as well as surveillance footage showed a unidentified female exiting the above list vehicle and walking to the residence. Shoe impressions were also located exiting the residence and returning the street. The home owner will contact the SO when she returns to give items taken form the home, no firearms were kept at the residence.

Deputies dispatched to location in reference to a burglary. The victim explained sometime between 820am and 630pm an unknown party gained access through a locked rear door. Approximately 500 dollars of costume jewelry was taken from the residence. Signs for forced entry were observed and shoe impressions were found at the residence.

Arrested: Jimmy Benavidez, 30 YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies learned the above subject has an active arrest warrant. Deputies went to the subjects residence and located him. Deputies placed subject into custody and booked him into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center without incident. Original Charges: Aggravated battery on a household member.

Deputy responded to the above address in reference to a burglary. It was discovered the unknown male suspect, made entry through the garage door and took the above items.

On above date Deputies responded to above address, business of Taco Bell, Pojoaque, Santa Fe County, NM in reference to a stolen motor vehicle located by Pojoaque Tribal Police Department. While conducting their investigation it was learned the above suspect had two active arrest warrants. Original Charges: Receiving Stolen Property, Conspiracy to commit receiving stolen property.

On above date Deputies responded to above address, business of Taco Bell, Pojoaque, Santa Fe County, NM in reference to a stolen motor vehicle located by Pojoaque Tribal Police Department. While conducting their investigation it was learned the above suspect had two active arrest warrants. Original Charges: (Case#2022007493- Possession of a controlled substance x 3, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no seat belts.) (Case#2022007494-Recieving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance x 2, and Resisting /evading an officer.)

Deputies responded to above address, business of Taco Bell, Pojoaque, Santa Fe County, NM in reference to a stolen motor vehicle located by Pojoaque Tribal Police Department. While conducting their investigation the above suspect was found in possession of a handgun, further investigation through NCIC determined above suspect is a convicted felon.
Case#2022007489/Receiving Transferring Stolen Motor Vehicle and Possession of a controlled substance/ 12-31-2022

ARRESTEE: Scott Chambers, 39 YOM, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies were dispatched to 64 Cities of Gold Road, in reference to an assisting other agency. Upon arrival deputies learned the above listed vehicle was stolen, and was located in the Pojoaque area by Pojoaque Police Department. While speaking with the individuals that were detained, three (3) canisters were located with suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Deputies were dispatched to the above address in reference to a stolen motor vehicle call for service. Upon further investigation it was determined the above named suspect should be entered into NCIC as missing person.

On 12-31-22, Deputies responded to location in reference to a stolen vehicle. Vehicle was taken from the driveway while victim was inside the residence. No suspect information is known at this time. The case is under investigation.
