During a verbal domestic it was learned the victim was battered by the suspect on 10/7/22. Obvious signs of injuries were observed. The suspect was areested on a traffic warrant Case 5931 and was rebooked with on domestic charges.

Subject was stopped for a traffic violation. During the stop, he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of the Taos Magistrate Court for the offense of Aggravated Battery. Subject was arrested and booked into SFADC without incident.

On 10-8-22, Deputy Leonard Martinez responded to a resident where a suspect known to the victim made entry into the resident by breaking a window. A warrant for his arrest was granted and entered into NCIC.

Deputies were dispatched to the above residence in reference to a unresponsive female. Medical personnel arrived on scene and began life saving measures without success. Deputies learned the decedent had previous medical history and had been sick the past couple of days. No foul play is involved.
