On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a violation. Upon making contact with the driver, it was learned he had an active bench warrant out of Colfax County Magistrate Court. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked without incident.

On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 deputies responded to the above area in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the above suspect had battered a household member. He was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. There, he was booked without incident.

Arrested: Michael Lopez, 48 YOM
On Wednesday, October 5th, 2022, deputies were patrolling the above area when they observed a vehicle with an illegible registration plate. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was found to have an invalid-revoked license. The driver was placed under arrest. It was also discovered that the registration plate on the vehicle had been stolen out of Albuquerque, NM. The driver was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Arrested: Austin Bernal 18 yoa (Santa Fe)
Subject was involved in a single vehicle crash. He admitted to consuming alcohol before operating the vehicle. SFST's were conducted and signs of impairment were observed. Subject submitted to a breath test which showed results over .16,.16. Subject was booked into SFADC with no incident.

Subject was located in a suspicious vehicle which was parked outside of a closed business. Subject was found to have 2 warrants for his arrest. One warrant was issued out of the Rio Arriba Magistrate Court charging Fail to appear on a felony charge of shoplifting. The second warrant was issued out of the Espanola Municipal court for traffic violations. He was arrested and booked without incident.

Subject was stopped for a traffic offense, and found to have an active warrant for his arrest issued by Rio Arriba Magistrate court. He was arrested and booked without incident.

On Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 deputies responded to the above location for a report of an inmate found with narcotics. Upon an investigation, the above male was found in possession of methamphetamines. He was rebooked accordingly.

On Friday, September 30th, 2022, around 10:20 pm, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, it was found that the suspect(s) had fled prior to deputies arrival. Based on the investigation, suspects gained unlawful access to the property and stole cash and a knife. This incident remains under investigation.

ARRESTEE: FLORENTINA GONZALES, 37-YEAR-OLD, H/F, ESPANOLA RESIDENT
CHARGES: AGG. DWI (REFUSAL) AND CHILD ENDANAGERMENT
On 9-30-22 at about 11:28 p.m., RECC dispatched deputies to the Knights of Columbus Hall off the East Frontage Rd in Arroyo Secco. The call referenced a battery/ disorderly conduct subject on the property.
Upon arrival, one of the parties involved was pointed out to deputies as she drove away from the location. The driver was stopped and identified as Florentina Gonzales. Gonzales displayed signs of impairment before and during the SFSTs. Gonzales was placed into custody and refused a chemical test. There was also a teenage minor child in the vehicle too. Gonzales was booked accordingly.
