On 3-3-2022, RECC received a call from the victim of a motor vehicle burglary. It was learned sometime during the evening of 3-2-2022 and the early morning hours of 3-3-2022, an unknown person(s) made unauthorized entry into the victim's vehicle and removed items not belonging to them. This case is currently under investigation.

On Tuesday, March 1st, 2022, deputies responded to the above location for a report of a welfare check. Upon arrival, it was found the 911 call was the result of a physical domestic disturbance. During the course of the investigation, it was determined that the above suspect had battered a household member, causing minor injury. During the subsequent arrest of the suspect, she battered a peace officer and resisted arrest. She was ultimately transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without further incident.

Deputy dispatched to location in reference to someone damaging the main gate. Once on scene and through investigation it was learned the aforementioned suspect damaged the automatic gate in order to gain entry into the property. Once in the properly surveillance cameras captured the suspect attempting to open multiple doors. Suspect was located and interviewed and admitted to the crime. Suspect was charged and booked without incident.

On 2-28-2022, Deputy Watson responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence. During the course of the investigation, it was learned during an argument on 2-26-2022; when Reina Chavez was intoxicated, she battered a family member and put her kids in a dangerous situation. A warrant was issued.
