The suspect was parked vomiting out of his vehicle when a welfare check was conducted. Deputies observed the suspect to be impaired. The suspect admitted to drinking alcohol. Impairment was observed during SFST's.  Suspect refused chemical testing and was booked without issue. 


2021007324/ DWI/ 9/22/21

Location:NM-14/ Valle Vista

While conducting a DWI checkpoint the suspect was showing signs of impairment. The suspect agreed to complete SFST's and more signs of impairment were observed. The suspect was arrested and agreed to a blood test. The suspect was later booked without incident.

Location:NM-14/ Valle Vista

During a DWI Checkpoint the suspect showed signs of impairment and agreed to complete standardized field sobriety tests. The suspect refused the breath test and was booked into ADC without incident.

Suspect: Pending

Stolen: Jewelry ($5,000)

Deputies responded to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim reported unknown suspects gained entry into the residence sometime on 9-21-2021 around 3 and 5pm. Suspects gained entry thru an unlocked door and stole jewelry. Case is under investigation


2021007304, Agg. DWI/ Open Container/ Roadway lane for traffic/ 9-21-2021

Location: U.S.  84/285 MM 180

Arrested: Christian Javier Marban-Tafoya  24 yoa, Ohkay Owingeh, NM

Deputies responded to above location to assist Pojoaque Tribal PD on a traffic stop involving a non-native American. The above subject was unable to maintain his lane of travel and was found with an open container inside his vehicle.  Subject was given SFST's and showed signs of impairment.  Subject was arrested for DWI and agreed to submit to a breath test after being read the NM Implied Consent advisory act.  During the breath test, subject would not provide any breath samples.  Subject was charged and booked at ADC.


2021007269 / Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle / 9-20-21

Stolen: 2007 blue Honda Accord, NM license plate JYD769

On 9-20-21 between the hours of 5:45am and 2:30pm someone stole the victim's Honda Accord from their driveway.


2021007272 / Possession of a controlled substance (Fentanyl), Driving While License Revoked / 9-20-21

Location: Primo Colores and Televera Street, Santa Fe N.M.

Arrested: Anthony Lovato, 46-year-old male from Santa Fe N.M.

On 9-20-21 Mr. Lovato was stopped for suspended registration on the 1999 Acura he was driving.  He was found to be driving on a revoked driver's license.  Search incident to arrested revealed he was in possession of 9 Fentanyl pills on his pant pocket.  He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

Suspect was stopped for a traffic violation and it was discovered he had an active warrant fro his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked

Suspect stole several dealt drills and various power tools from the bed of the victims truck. 


2021007238 / Criminal Damage to Property / Larceny / 9-18-21

Location: State Road 41 and Anaya Ranch Road

Stolen: Copper wire

Damaged Utility boxes

On 9-18-21 at 2:27pm Central NM Electric Co-Op was notified of a power outage in the area nor Anaya Ranch Road and State Road 41.  Upon arrival they discovered someone damaged a junction box, transformer and meter pedestal.  A small amount of copper wire was stolen.  Evidence was collected on scene.
