Deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident and a DWI investigation was conducted. Suspect displayed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

LOCATION: Las Campanas Drive, Santa Fe, NM

DECEASED: 57YOF, Santa Fe, NM

On 11-23-2022, in the morning hours; Deputies responded to a female, not conscious, not breathing; in which the medics had responded to a call for service. Life-saving measures were attempted, but were unsuccessful. There were no signs of foul play. OMI responded and took over the investigation.


Case #2022006817 Battery against a household member, False imprisonment

Assigned Deputy: A. Naranjo

Suspect: Erick Carrillo, 18 yoa Male, Santa Fe

Deputies dispatched to a rolling domestic. Deputies located the suspect vehicle and conducted traffic stop. Through the investigation it was learned the suspect battered the victim, a household member. Suspect arrested and booked into SFCADC. 


2022006800/ Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle/ 11/20/2022

Vehicle: PLP458 NM // 2005 Mercury Mariner // Silver with tinted windows.

The victim stated his vehicle was stolen from his property. The victim stated the keys might have been in the vehicle.

Location: Pojoaque Supermarket

The driver was called in as a reckless driver and was later arrested as the driver displayed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking alcohol. The driver was latter arrested.

Suspect: Adrian Garcia 33YOM

Deputies were dispatched to above location in regards to a welfare check. It was learned suspect battered his mother and he was placed under arrest. Suspect was booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.


2022006790/ Possession with the intent to distribute

Suspect: Raul Arroyo-Jimenez

A traffic stop was conducted  and suspect was arrested on multiple extraditable warrants. While being booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center. Suspect was found in possession of cocaine.

Deputies were dispatched to above location in regards to a domestic disturbance. it was learned the suspect strangled the victim during an argument. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center.

DECEASED: 82-YEAR-OLD MALE

On 11-18-2022, Deputy E. Madrid responded to a assist Santa Fe County Medics, in which the medics had responded to a call for service. Life-saving procedures were unsuccessful. There were no signs of foul play. OMI responded and took over the investigation.


Case#2022006775/Warrant Service/11-18-22

Commander Entering: Cpl. Christopher Valencia

Location: 6 Second St Cerrillos, NM

Arrested: Charlie Sapien, 33YOM, Cerrillos,NM

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a criminal trespass complaint. While conducting their investigation, they made contact with the above individual. An NCIC check on the subject was conducted, and it was learned that he had  warrants (x4) for his arrest. Deputies placed the suspect into custody, transported, and booked him without incident. Original Charges: Battery, Shoplifting, and Speeding.
