On Sunday February 13, 2022, the listed suspect stole the victims vehicle without her permission. Suspect was later located at a hotel in Santa Fe in possession of the vehicle. The suspect resisted arrest when he encountered deputies but was taken into custody without incident.

The suspect was pulled over for a traffic violation. Signs of impairment were observed and the suspect was placed into custody. The suspect refused chemical testing.

On February 11, 2022 the victim reported a male attempted to remove a trailer from his property. The victim made contact with the suspect and stated he was repossessing the trailer. At that time the victim stated the trailer belonged to him. The suspect then fled the area in a maroon in color Ford Explorer, unknown license plate number. The victim described the suspect vehicle to be missing the passenger side front bumper. The suspect was described to be 5"10'', 250 pounds with tattoos on his face, neck and arms. There was no damage to the trailer.

Location: County Rd 84, Santa Fe County, NM
Suspect: Cruz P. Salazar
On above date, deputy responded to a possible aggravated assault. A traffic stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle. Deputy smelled a strong odor of an alcohol beverage coming from the driver of the vehicle. Driver of the vehicle admitted to consuming 2 shots, but refused testing. Driver was found to have a revoked DL and was booked accordingly.
No other crime took place.
Driver refused to perform any SFSTs, driver was arrested and booked.

Stolen: Two Catalytic Converters
On Thursday, February 10th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a larceny. Contact was made with the victim and they advised between 3:00 pm and 4:15 pm on 02-09-2022, unknown suspects cut off two catalytic converters from a vehicle. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Stolen: 1998 white Chevrolet single cab, 2 wheel drive truck. 20' wheels, stickers in back window, New Mexico license plate 310-SXL
On 2-10-22 between the hours of 12pm and 4pm the victims truck was stolen from a residence on El Sol Court.

Above subject violated the order of contempt on a custody exchange. An arrest warrant was drafted and approved by Judge David Segura for her arrest.

Charges: Open container/ Driving under the influence while intoxicated with a minor/unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon
Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a reckless driver. Contact was made with the above subject who was parked on the shoulder of the roadway. The subject admitted to consuming an alcoholic beverage and Deputy detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person. Also, a child was located inside the vehicle. Above subject refused SFST's and was placed under arrest. In addition, subject refused a chemical test. Subject was booked at ADC accordingly.

Arrested: Santos Leon Pereira, 43 yoa, Santa Fe, NM
Deputies responded to above location in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was located impeding traffic and a traffic stop was conducted. During the traffic stop, driver showed signs of impairment. The driver refused to submit to SFST's. Subject was arrested and refused chemical testing. Subject was booked at ADC accordingly.

Traffic stop was conducted at the above location for no registration and insurance. During the traffic stop, Deputy learned the above subject was driving on a revoked license with the arrest clause. Subject was arrested and booked accordingly.
