2022000620/Aggravated Burglary/01-30-2022

Location: Vereda Serena, Santa Fe, NM

On Sunday, January 30th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a burglary. Contact was made with the victim and they advised upon returning home, they located a male inside of their residence. The male had two bags and a rifle with a scope. The male apologized for breaking into the home and left on foot. It was discovered that the male had broken a window to gain access to the residence. The male did not threaten the homeowners. The male suspect was described to be in his mid to late 20s, 6'00" tall and was wearing a blue jacket and baggy jeans. A thorough search of the area did not result in finding the suspect. This case remains under investigation.


2022000624/Aggravated DWI/01-30-2022

Location: NM 599/Airport Road

Arrested: Mynor Chacon-Miranda, 44 YOM

On Sunday, January 30th, 2022, deputies responded to the above area in reference to a suspected impaired driver. The above subject was found operating a Ford Focus and he was unable to maintain his lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver fled for a short distance before fleeing the vehicle on foot. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest without incident. The driver displayed signs of impairment and provided breath samples which showed him breath alcohol content to be above .16. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Suspect was stopped for speeding and it was discovered his license was revoked with the arrest clause. He was booked

Suspect: Annastacia Serrano

The listed subject was stopped for a traffic violation and found to have a revoked drivers license pursuant to 66-8-122G. 

The subject was placed under arrest and booked into SFADC. The vehicle was towed.

On Thursday, January 27, 2022 the listed suspect crashed her vehicle. Deputies made contact with the female and observed signs of impairment.  The suspect agreed to chemical testing and which resulted in .16 BrAC,.15BrAC.

On Thursday, January 27, 2022, Deputies observed a vehicle flashing its lights and saw a female standing outside of her vehicle.  When the Deputy made contact he observed the female to have slurred speech and bloodshot watery eyes.  The female refused chemical testing and was booked accordingly.


2022000566, Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle,1-27-2022

Location: Rito Guico/Camino Lagunitas

Suspect: Pending

Victim reported he parked the vehicle at the above location in the intersection on 12-13-2021.  When he returned that evening, the vehicle was stolen. Owner was under the impression the vehicle was reported stolen during the time of the incident and learned no report was generated.  Case is under investigation.

On the above date the suspect crashed his vehicle into a cable barrier at the rest area. Deputies observed signs of impairment.The suspect refused field testing and chemical testing. The suspect was booked without incident.


202200506/Fraud/01-25-2022

Location: Sherry Lane, Santa Fe County, NM

Fraud amount: $20,000

Victim received a phone call from a Jamaica number saying he had won 2.1 million dollars and a new car in the lottery. Victim was advised that he just needed to send a 7,000 dollar deposit for the winnings. Once the money was sent, they called the victim back and said the accounting department made a mistake and he won ten million dollars and a new car, but victim needed to send another 13,000 dollars, which he did. When the money and car did not show up the victim realized he had been scammed and reported this crime.
