Suspect got into an argument with her husband about infidelity. The argument became physical and signs of abuse were observed. Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Karen Quintana, 52-year-old female from Santa Fe N.M.
On 6/7/2021 a citizen called 911 to report a reckless driver/possible intoxicated driver in the La Cienega area. He reported the vehicle to be a white Mitsubishi Galant. Deputies responded to the area and were unable to locate the vehicle. Soon after the citizen flagged down a deputy on State Road 599 and provided the deputy with a photograph of the vehicle and license plate. The vehicle was located a short time later at the above stated intersection. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, Mrs. Quintana who displayed signs of intoxication. A DWI investigation was conducted and she was subsequently placed under arrest for DWI. She refused to submit to a breath test and was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail for Aggravated DWI.

On 6/6/2021, the above driver was observed driving as she was unable to maintain a single lane of traffic. A traffic stop was conducted, where signs of impairment were observed. SFSTs were conducted. Chavez showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. A breath test showed his breath alcohol concentration was over the legal limit. Chavez was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

On 6/4/2021 Mrs. Walantas was involved in a dispute with a family member. During the dispute she battered the family member by slapping them on the chest. She was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.

On 6/5/2021 deputies were dispatched to the area of Los Pinos Road in reference to a report of a FedEx driver having a gun pointed at him by an unknown male. Upon contacting the FedEx driver (Mr. Padilla) deputies detected signs of intoxication and conducted a DWI investigation. Mr. Padilla showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. A breath test showed his breath alcohol concentration was over twice the legal limit. He was booked into the Santa Fe County Jail accordingly.
