On Monday, May 24th, 2021, deputies responded to the above location for an inmate who was found in possession of a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, detention officers advised they located a metal object which had been sharpened to a point. The suspect was rebooked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

On Monday, May 24th, 2021, deputies were advised of an auto burglary at the above location. The victim advised between 2-5pm on 05-24-2021, an unknown person broke a window to gain access to the above mentioned property. This case remains under investigation.

On Monday, May 24th, 2021, deputies were patrolling the area when they observed occupants not wearing seat belts in a vehicle. A traffic stop was conducted and it was found the driver had a revoked driver's license due to a previous DWI conviction. During a subsequent inventory, a stolen Smith and Wesson handgun was located inside the vehicle. The driver was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

The suspect was stopped for a traffic violation. Driver/ suspect was later found with narcotics and a weapon (handgun). Through investigative research it was learned the suspect is a felon. The suspect was charged and booked into ADC.
