An unknown suspect attempted to gain entry to a business by smashing the front glass windows. Deputies arrived and viewed the surveillance footage of the suspect. The investigation is still ongoing.

Deputies were dispatched to the location regarding a male on the side of the road next to a vehicle with its hazard lights on. Deputies made contact with the subject, who admitted to driving and only stopped due to running out of gas. The subject showed signs of impairment and refused to conduct SFSTs. The subject was arrested and submitted to a breath test, resulting in .13/.13. The subject was booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.

Location- Agua Fria/ San Ysidro Crossing
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for expired registration. Upon contact with the driver, it was discovered he had two outstanding warrants. He was arrested on the warrants and later booked at SF ADC.

Deputies responded to the location in reference to larceny of a license plate. Deputies were advised unknown suspect(s) stole a license plate off of the reporting party’s utility trailer. The license plate was entered into NCIC as stolen. No suspect information at this time.
Case #2025003837 Burglary, Larceny

Location: Ramada Court, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a violation of a temporary restraining order. Deputies were advised the calling party believed her ex had entered the property, opened a shed, and took tools from within. Deputies were unable to verify the calling party’s ex was the one who got into the shed and took the tools. At this time there is no suspect information.

Arrested: Alexis Nava Alvarado, 32 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the location to assist Pojoaque Tribal Police with a Non-Native-American male who was trespassing at the location. Deputies arrived on scene and were advised the suspect had been trespassed from the property multiple times but continued to return. Deputies arrested the suspect. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Deputies responded to a call for service regarding a reckless driver. Deputies located the vehicle and witnessed the atrocious driving. Deputies conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver, who showed signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and the passengers were released to a relative, after the proper actions were taken. The driver was booked accordingly at SFADC.

Deputies were dispatched to a cardiac/respiratory arrest call for service at the location. EMS was on scene when deputies arrived and advised patient was beyond medical intervention.Deputies conducted an investigation and determined foul play was not suspected. The Office of the Medical Investigator was requested to the scene, the deceased was transported by a local funeral home.

Contact was made with the victim, who reported he was scammed into sending 20,000.00 dollars to an individual he meet on WhatsApp. The victim advised after noticing a pattern of suspicious activity he realized he was being scammed and reported the incident. Deputies obtained all the suspect information; the case is under investigation.

Deputies made contact with the subject during a traffic stop. Upon contact with the driver/subject, it was confirmed that the subject had a revoked driver's license due to a previous DWI offense. The subject was arrested and booked into Santa Fe ADC without incident.
