On Wednesday, May 5th, 2020, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a larceny. The victim advised unknown suspect(s) stole the above mentioned items from a family member's residence within the last few months. All firearms were entered into NCIC as stolen and suspect information is pending. This investigation remains active.

Item taken- Red 1995 Mazda Pickup Truck bearing NM license plate ANHZ88 valued at $7000.
On Tuesday May 5, 2020, deputies were dispatched to the above location regarding an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Victim advised that at 5:30 pm today she observed the above listed vehicle on the roadway. Upon returning home victim noticed that the above vehicle was missing from the garage. Vehicle was entered into NCIC. Case is under investigation.

On 5/5/20, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2005 blue Mazda 3 for excessive speed. Contact was made with driver/suspect who appeared to be under the influence of an intoxicating beverage. The driver/suspect refused to perform SFST’s and refused to provide a breath sample. The driver/suspect was placed under arrest and transported to ADC.

Deputies were dispatched to Hyde Park in regards to a MVA hit and run.
Driver was located and displayed signs of impairment. Driver provided a breath sample of .26/.25

Suspect: Jesus Rodriguez (26YOM)
Items Recovered: AR-15 .22 Rifle
While patrolling the area of NM 14/NM 599 Deputy observed the above listed vehicle parked at the exit of the Allsups onto NM 14. The driver appeared to be slumped over asleep. Deputy pulled behind the vehicle and engaged my emergency equipment. The male woke up and pulled onto NM 14 and pulled to the shoulder. Upon contact with the male he could not provide a valid driver's license. The male was removed from the vehicle to check for signs of impairment and a handgun was observed in his seat. The suspect and female passenger were detained for Officer Safety. The handgun came back clear and consent to search the vehicle was obtained from the registered owner. During the search an AR-15 was located on the floor in the back seat of the vehicle. This rifle came back stolen out of Santa Fe PD. An inventory of the vehicle was completed and during the inventory approximately 30 grams of heroin pre-packaged for sale, a small amount of methamphetamine and $5,410.00 were located in a fanny pack belonging to the suspect. Suspect was arrested and booked on the above charges.

On 5/4/20, Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white 2007 GMC Yukon on Jemez Road. During the course of the traffic stop investigation it was determined a 15 year old female was in the vehicle and was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Modelo beer was found in the vehicle. The juvenile provided a breath test of .10. The four passengers were placed under arrest for the contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The juvenile was released to her guardian. Charges will be forward to the JPO office for the minor. The suspects were transported and booked into ADC.

Victim reported he was scammed by an unknown suspect posing as an FBI agent who wanted him to pay a fine or face deportation. The victim made payment and later found out the phone call was fraudulent. Case is under investigation.
