A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a driving infraction. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. He was transported to the SFSO where he provided a breath sample that was at or above a .08. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Diego Pulido (30 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies contacted Diego for jay walking, and he was found to have two outstanding warrants. He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested: Mauricio Carbajal
Deputy initiated a traffic stop for failure to maintain lane. Upon contact, the driver, Arrested Mauricio Carbajal 27 YOM, had an open container of an intoxicating beverage inside the vehicle. Deputy conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFSTs), which Arrested performed poorly. Arrested submitted to a breath test, which showed signs of intoxication. Arrested was booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Center for Aggravated DWI.

Deputies were dispatched to the above location in reference to a Larceny. Victim stated her husband parked their vehicle at the residence last night, purse was missing from the vehicle this morning. The Victim stated incident occurred between 0030 and 0700.

Deputies backed up SFPD with a suspicious persons call. Contact was made with the suspects, and one was found to have an active arrest warrant out of District Court for failure to appear on shoplifting. Subject was taken to the detention facility.

Stolen: Kicker Speakers, Amplifier, Torque Wrenches, Lock
Sometime between August 2025 and today, the storage unit was broken into and the above items were taken. Case is under investigation.

Arrested- Weston Klaus (39 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Weston was observed driving on Rodeo Rd and clocked on radar at 78 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. He was also failing to maintain his lane and turned without using a turn signal. A traffic stop was conducted and Weston displayed signs of impairment. He refused to perform SFST's and was arrested. He also refused to provide a breath sample. It was later discovered his license was suspended. He was booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Joseph Jacquez (36 year old male/ Vallecitos)
Joseph was contacted by deputies while jay walking. He was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested. He was later booked at the SF ADC.
