Arrested: Isreal Chavez, 25 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a domestic disturbance. While on scene the deputies learned the suspect battered his wife multiple times while holding his infant child, endangering the child’s safety in the process. The suspect also stole the victim’s phone to prevent her from contacting law enforcement. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Arrested: Audrey Tapia, 20 YOA female, Santa Fe
Deputies were flagged down in reference to a shoplifting at a business in the Eldorado area. Deputies began shearching the area for the suspect. The suspect was located at the listed location. Deputies attempted to detain the suspect, who then began physically resisting. During the altercation the suspect got ahold of the deputy’s pepper spray and sprayed herself and the deputy. The suspect was restrained and placed under arrest. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe Adult Detention Facility.

Arrested: Abel Maez 37 YOM
Deputy responded to location after correctional staff reported finding a crystal like substance on Mr. Maez during a search. Deputy arrived on scene and confirmed the information. Mr. Maez was charged and rebooked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Deputies contacted the driver and observed signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.
