On Thursday, April 4, 2019 at approximately 9:05pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a residential burglary. An unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the residence and removed jewelry, loose change, toiletries, and makeup from the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Deputies were dispatched to the area of US 84/285 near the Camel Rock Casino in reference to the above vehicle not being able to maintain its lane of travel. The vehicle was located near County Rd 88 and US /84/285.
The driver was contacted and upon speaking with him the odor of an intoxicating beverage was coming from his breath. The driver agreed to perform SFST's and was taken into custody upon completion .The driver provided two breath samples with the first showing .21G/210L and the second showing .19G/210L of breath.
The driver was booked in to SFCADF. This arrest constitutes Mr. Chacon's 5tharrest for DWI.

Deputies stopped the suspect for speeding and it was discovered he was driving on a revoked license with the arrest clause. He was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility.

Suspect became upset with a correctional officer after not receiving several pairs of socks which he had requested. He responded by punching the correctional officer twice in the face. He was re-booked on above charge.

On Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at approximately 6:30pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a female that was unconscious and not breathing. Medics determined life saving measures were ineffective. The Office of the Medical Examiner was called to the scene and conducted their investigation. There were no signs of foul play.
