Deputies initiated a traffic stop with the driver of a vehicle after observing a traffic violation. Upon contacting the driver, it was learned the driver was driving while his license was revoked. The driver was arrested and taken to jail where he was booked accordingly.

Upon arriving, Deputies learned the inmate was found to have a controlled substance in his property and admitted the substance was his. Inmate Roybal was re-booked into the jail with the additional charge.

On Sunday March 22, 2020, Deputies served Issac Vega with three arrest warrants while incarcerated at the Santa Fe County Jail. The warrants were for failing to comply with conditions of release and failure to appear on the original charges of Agg. DWI, Careless Driving, No Insurance, Unlawful Taking of a Motor vehicle and robbery. Arrestee was rebooked on the mentioned warrants.

While responding, deputies were told Santa Fe City Police located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop after the vehicle was seen driving in opposing lanes of travel. Upon deputies arriving and contacting the driver, impairment was detected. The driver was arrested after submitting to sobriety testing. Subject refused chemical testing and was booked into the jail.
