Charges: False Imprisonment X 2, Battery Upon a Peace Officer, Aggravated Battery Against a Household Member, Aggravated Battery, Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer.
On Friday, May 31, 2019 at approximately 4:11pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a violent domestic. Suspect battered both victims, choked one of the victims and strangled the other victim. Suspect also held victims against their will. While being taken into custody, suspect resisted and would not comply. Suspect also battered a deputy after he was taken into custody. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. Deputy was treated for their injuries. No one received any life-threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
