Deputies responded to the Stanley Volunteer Fire Department training center in reference to a burglary. It was discovered that unknown suspect(s) damaged a window, two doors and stole an Axe.

Victim reported receiving a phone call advising she owed 3,500$ in lieu of being arrested on a federal jury summons. She purchased money cards and relayed personal identifying information to the caller.

Victim reported her identity was stolen September 2017 at which time she purchased a credit protection service. The service since expired and there have been several attempts at opening credit cards with her identity.

 Suspect: Richard Martinez – 31 - Espanola, NM

Charges: Possession of a deadly weapon by a prisoner – Possession of a controlled substance

After the suspect was stopped for speeding it was learned that he had two outstanding warrants for his arrest. As he was being booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility a search turned up two knives, several bullets, and some methamphetamine

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

 Suspect: Jennifer Chavez – 30 - Espanola, NM

Charges: Larceny > $500.00

The suspect was observed earlier in the day pickpocketing a person at the Camel Rock Casino. She returned to the Casino in the evening and was identified by security.  Upon being questioned the suspect admitted to taking a wallet from the victim.  The suspect told deputies that she gave the wallet to another female to hold for her.  The other female could not be located.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

On Sunday, May 6, 2018, Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver Jessica Lovato.  Deputies discovered she had an active warrant for her arrest.  Jessica was served with the warrant for battery on a household member.  Jessica was booked accordingly.

 


Case#: 0218006851, Residential Burglary, Larceny, 5/6/18

Incident Location: Valle Vista Subdivision

On the aforementioned date, Deputies responded to the reporting parties address in reference to a burglary.  Upon arrival, it was learned that the suspect stole two rim fire .22 caliber rifles and a Samurai Sword.  This case is currently under investigation.

Person Arrested: Carlos Ramirez-Mejia, 24 year old male subject

On the aforementioned date, a traffic stop was conducted in the area of airport road and zepol.  Contact with the above mentioned male driver was made and an odor of alcoholic beverages was detected.  A DWI investigation was conducted and the male subject was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.  The driver was taken into custody and transported to the adult detention center where he was charged and booked without incident.

Suspect: Bravlio Lopez   Age: 53

On May 5, 2018 Deputies received of a call of a possible drunk driver in the area of the Sinclair Gas Station in Pojoaque, NM.  Deputies located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.  Contact was made with the driver who displayed signed of impairment.  Driver was arrested on suspicion of DWI and refused a breath test.  It was also learned the driver had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear on the original charge of driving while license is revoked.  Driver was booked accordingly.
