On Monday, May 20, 2019 at approximately 4:42pm, Deputy observed the vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the suspect, the driver. Suspect was unable to provide proof of insurance or proof of registration. Suspect was run through N.C.I.C. and returned with a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause attached. The revocation was confirmed through dispatch and the suspect was placed under arrest. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Deputy responded to listed location in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted due to the vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel. Driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. A blood draw was conducted. Suspect arrested and booked accordingly.

Arrested: Jose Sotelo 25 yoa male (Santa Fe)
Suspect was located in a vehicle at the park after the park was closed. During the contact he was found to have an active warrant for his arrest out of the Santa Fe Municipal Court. He was also found to have a handgun in his possession and under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and booked into Santa Fe County Jail without further incident.
