Victim reported to Deputy that she had left her purse in the establishment and upon realizing this, she contacted the establishment to see if anyone turned in the purse. Victim reported no one submitted the purse and upon checking her bank accounts learned unknown persons had used her credit cards. Case in under investigation.

Suspect: Kenneth Howard, 55, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: DWI, Careless Driving, Open Container
On Sunday, May 26, 2019 at approximately 2:22pm, deputies responded to location in reference to a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle failed to make a turn and crossed the bridge, crashing into the railing on the bridge. Suspect was the driver, who displayed signs of impairment. Suspect agreed to submit to the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. During the tests, the suspect continued to show signs of impairment. Suspect was placed under arrest and was read the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory. Suspect agreed to provide a breath test and provided two breath samples of 0.08 or higher. Inside the vehicle an open container of an alcoholic beverage was located. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
