Suspect: Hispanic male, approximately 6’ tall, wearing a brown jacket and beanie. Suspect had chipped front tooth. Possibly driving a dark Dodge Charger.
De[uty was dispatched in reference to unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival made contact with the victim who stated that he had pulled over because his truck was making an odd noise. While looking under the hood a vehicle pulled up behind his truck. The suspect then walked up and asked if he was ok. The suspect then punched the victim twice in the face, got into the truck and fled south on NM 14. Deputies searched the area for the truck but were unable to locate it. The victim stated the vehicle that pulled up behind his truck was possibly a dark in color Dodge Charger.
Vehicle Taken: 2004 -White - Ford - F150 - NM Reg: 564RYX - Spare tire on right front, tinted windows and reflectors on tailgate
