Deceased: 29-year-old male from Amarillo Texas
On 4-24-18 Casino/Resort security found a 29-year-old male deceased in his hotel room. Deputies responded and conducted an investigation. They did not locate any signs of foul play. The case is still under investigation.

Arrested: Jerry Gutierrez Age: 26 Santa Fe,NM
Deputies were dispatched to the area for a fight in progress. Upon arrival, they came in contact with the suspect who was intoxicated and attempted to engage in a physical altercation with police. The suspect was subdued and placed into custody. Subject was arrested and taken to jail.

Suspect: Aaron Vigil - 24 -Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Battery Against a Household Member
Victim stated suspect and her were arguing over unfaithfulness in the relationship. Victim stated suspect spilled a glass of water and suspect picked glass up and threw it at her. Victim said suspect struck her in the left eyebrow causing a minor laceration.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Suspect: Alvin Romero – 56 - Espanola, NM
Charges: DWI – Open Container – No Insurance - Speeding
Suspect was stopped for traveling 53mph in a 30mph zone. Upon contact the suspect showed signs of impairment and was requested to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. The suspect was subsequently arrested and tested a .15 and a .16 on an Intoxilyzer test.
The suspects’ vehicle was seized due to this being his 3rdDWI arrest.
The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

Victim reported to Deputy that unknown persons contacted her via phone inquiring if she wanted to rent property. Victim stated after sending the unknown persons an amount of money, she realized she was being scammed out of her money. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported to deputy, an unknown person called him via phone stating he was with the sheriff's office and demanded payment for not showing to an ordered class. Victim stated he paid the demand before finding out he was scammed out of money. Case is under investigation.

Deputies responded to location in reference to a dispute. Upon arriving, it was learned that the listed suspect raised a large firewood log and threatened to kill his relative. The subject was arrested without incident and transported to jail where he was booked accordingly.

Deceased: Male Age: 79 Santa Fe,NM
Deputies were dispatched to location in reference to medical personnel requesting assistance. Upon arrival, life saving efforts were being administered to the subject. The deceased did not revive, There was no foul play. OMI was requested and took over the scene.

Deceased: Female Age: 68 Glorieta ,NM
Deputies were dispatched to location in reference to the deceased being found by the land lord unconscious and not breathing. Medic personnel arrived on scene and found no signs of life. OMI responded to location. Case was taken over by OMI.
