On 06/26/17 the victim reported she received an email from her credit monitoring company, stating there was a change is her credit. Upon contacting the monitoring company, she learned a credit card was opened in her name. Suspect information is pending at this time.

0217009016 / Larceny, Criminal Damage / 6-26-17

Stolen: US Currency

Deputy War was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a larceny.  Upon arrival it was learned unknown suspect(s) pried open a money collection box at a campground and stole an undisclosed amount of money.  Case is under investigation.

0217008971 – Battery against a Household Member – 06-25-17

 Suspect: Saul Galvan – 30 - Espanola, NM

Charges: Battery against a Household Member (2 Counts)

The suspect was witnessed to have slapped his wife, putting his hands around her neck choking her, and pushing her down.  The suspect also pushed his Mother-in-Law, who was on crutches, down.

The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility on the above charge(s).

0217008939-Burglary, Larceny, Tampering with Motor Vehicle- 6-25-17

Item taken- Engine lock device valued at $100

Victim stated that suspect entered her vehicle at Gray 2008 Ford Explorer without permission and took the above item which caused the vehicle to be non functional. Case is under investigation.

Location: 2323 Casa Rufina Apartments, Santa Fe, NM

Suspect(s); Pending

Victim reported that her vehicle had multiple puncture holes on both rear tires. Deputies also observed scratch marks on the paint along the left side of the vehicle as well as the right rear side of the vehicles trunk. The victim estimated the damage to the vehicle to be valued at $1,000. Case is under investigation.

 

0217008901, Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, 6-24-2017

Location: Pine West/South Fork extension, Santa Fe, NM

Stolen: 2012- silver in color GMC terrain

 The victim reported the above vehicle as being stolen by two individuals at the above location as she was returning back from taking her horses off of the roadway.  During the investigation, the vehicle was subsequently located on  Pine East/Marissa Lane parked partially on the roadway . The vehicle was reported to be undamaged. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Arrested: Steven Montoya    Age: 35     Santa Fe,NM

Deputies were dispatched to the jail after they were alerted of an inmate being in possession of a controlled substance. Upon arrival, the inmate admitted to the deputy that he possessed a controlled substance and intended to use it. The inmate was re booked into the jail with the additional charge.

The reporting party reported to deputy that in the month of May 2017, the male suspect picked up her 7 year old daughter of the ground and spanked her several times.  Case is under investigation>

Deputies were dispatched to area In reference to a dispute. Upon arrival, it was learned that the listed suspect has battered the female victim and minor child. The suspect was arrested and was booked into jail where he was given copies of all pertinent paperwork.

Arrested:    Andrew Trujillo       Age: 35     Espanola, NM                              

                   Crystal Dominguez  Age: 33   Espanola, NM

Deputies were dispatched to Camino De Los Ranchos in reference to a medical assist. Deputies were told that on scene at that location were two persons found to be unconscious with a small toddler. The above persons were located and were arrested after receiving medical treatment. Both persons were transported to jail where they were booked accordingly.
