Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a domestic disturbance. It was discovered the suspect forced entry into the residence with an object, battered the victim, and prevented him from contacting emergency services. She was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding. Upon contact with the driver, it was learned that his driving privileges had been revoked due to a previous DWI. The subject also had an active arrest warrant out of Rio Arriba County for failure to appear on charges of DWI and careless driving. The subject was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe ADC.
2025004084 / Motor vehicle crash - Fatality / 07-13-2025

Location: Dinkle Rd / County Line Rd Santa Fe County, NM
Deputies responded to location after receiving reports of a motor vehicle crash. EMS also responded and located a single occupant unconcious and not breathing. While trying to extract the decedent from the vehicle, they succumbed to their injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Deputy conducted a traffic stop on vehicle for having suspended registration. After identifying the driver it was learned his driving privileges were revoked with the 122g arrest clause due to a prior DWI arrest. He was placed under arrest, transported and booked into Santa Fe County Jail.

Deputies responded to the area regarding a possible DUI. The vehicle was located at a drive-through window, driving on two rims. A traffic stop was initiated in the parking lot. Signs of impairment were observed, and SFSTs were conducted, and the subject was arrested. The subject had a BRAC of 0.18 g/210L and 0.18 g/210L. He was booked into SFADC.

Deputies were dispatched to the location regarding a domestic disturbance. Deputies arrived on the scene and made contact with the subject and victim. Through investigation, it was learned that the subject was arguing, and when the victim attempted to leave the bedroom to separate herself, the subject prevented her from leaving. The subject was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe ADC.
Case #2025004070 Unattended Death

Deceased: 79 YOA female, Santa Fe
Deputies responded to the location in reference to a cardiac arrest call. Deputies arrived on scene and located the decedent, who was beyond life saving measures. The Office of the Medical Investigator was contacted to respond to the scene. No signs of foul play were observed.

Staff reported they responded to an email from a vendor stating their banking information had change. Invoices were also submitted. These invoices were forward to accounting who later approved payment. It was later learned the invoices and email was fraudulent. Case is under investigation.
