Arrested- Miguel Castrejon (29 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- Airport Rd (Santa Fe)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for and infraction. Upon contacting the occupants of the vehicle, deputies discovered that Miguel had 3 outstanding warrants. He was arrested on the warrants and booked at ADC.
Case #2025004170/ Larceny/ 7/17/2025

Location- Bishops Lodge Rd (Tesuque)
Deputies were dispatched to a hotel in reference to a guest reporting an item was missing from his room. Deputies searched the room, but could not locate the item. Deputies and staff looked through the dirty linens, thinking the item could have been wrapped up in the sheets by accident. Deputies are in the process of obtaining video surveillance and conducting follow-up interviews. The case is still being investigated.
Case#2025004159 - Missing Person - 7/16/25

Location: A N B Lane, Santa Fe NM
Missing: Gary Turbide (65YOM)
Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a missing person. Mr. Turbide was last seen on July 6, 2025 during an investiagtion. Mr. Turbide is known to enjoy the outdoors and could possibly be camping. Mr. Turbide took some of his personal belongings and did not give any indication he had intentions to harm himself.. Mr. Turbide was entered into NCIC as a missing person.
Case#2025004150 - Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle - 7/16/25
Assigned: J. Barron

Location: Sunset Canyon Trl, Santa Fe NM
Stolen: 1997 white Nissan Frontier
Deputies responded to the location in reference to an unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Contact was made with the victim who advised, he heard his vehicle turn on during early morning hours. The victim stated he noticed his vehicle was being driven away as he approached his window. The case is currently under investigation.
Case#2025004157 - Unattended Death - 7/16/25
Assigned: C. Podolak

Location: Entrada Capulin, Santa Fe NM
Deceased: 58 YEAR OLD MALE
Deputies responded to the location in reference to an ambulance assist call for service. Upon arrival lifesaving procedures were performed by EMS, but were unsuccessful. Deputies conducted their investigation and determined foul play was not suspected and the death appeared to be of natural causes. The Office of the Medical Investigator was contacted, the deceased was removed from the scene by a local funeral home.
Case #2025004139/ Aggravated Battery on a Household Member/ 7/15/2025

Arrested- Damian Knight (29 year old male/ Albuquerque)
Location- Blue Spruce Drive/ West Alameda
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with both parties involved. It was learned during the investigation that Damian Knight had committed a battery on the victim by strangling her. He was placed under arrest, and booked at the SF ACD following completion of paperwork.

Location- N Riverside Dr (Espanola)
Arrested- Isaiah Guinn (18 year old male/ Espanola)
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for running a red light. During contact with the driver, he showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DUI. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office to provide a breath sample. Following completion of paperwork he was booked at the SF ADC.

Location- South Meadows/ Airport Rd
A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for driving infractions. Upon contact with the driver, deputies discovered that he had an active warrant for his arrest. The driver was arrested on the warrant and later booked at SF ADC.

Location: 184 US 84-285 Frontage Road Arroyo Seco, NM
The calling party reported to deputies that a known person had embezzled a large amount of money from the establishment. The case is under investigation.

Arrested: Alexandria Mendiola (36 YOF)
Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to a domestic disturbance. It was discovered the suspect forced entry into the residence with an object, battered the victim, and prevented him from contacting emergency services. She was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.
