Purpose: Furnishing and erecting two signs indicating the section of road under adoption and the organization responsible. Assisting in securing media coverage to inform the public of the program. Providing safety instruction furnished by the program coordinator for the organization. Providing and collecting bags on or shortly after cleanup day if sufficient advanced notice of the cleanup is provided by the organization. The County, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time and remove the section identification signs.

Purpose: Rio En Medio Senior Citizens’ Kitchen Remodel - WHEREAS, upon a review of the remodeling project the County determined that design
services in addition to the basic services provided for in Agreement 201 1-0043-CSDIPL, are necessary to provide for a more extensive remodel in order that the kitchen facility has the necessary meal storage area to better serve the needs of senior citizens;
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 4.3. and 4.3.1.6 of the Agreement the County may propose that the Contractor perform additional design services to further expand the kitchen and increase the compensation to the Contractor for such design services;
WHEREAS, the parties desire to enter into this Amendment No. 1 to provide for additional design services and increased compensation in the amount of $1,850.00, exclusive of gross receipts tax;
WHEREAS this Amendment No.1 will increase the total contract value to $9,585.00.

Item: DOE - Determination - Repairs in Correcting the Wastewater Flows at the County Wastewater Treatment Facility

collapsed line. The manhole lines provide access to the sewer lines for maintenance and inspection of wastewater flows, as well to clear line of any debris.

Item: DOE - Determination - Repairs of a Water Line Break at 2208 Paseo Primero, Hyde Park Estates
Contractor: Sub Surface Contracting, LLC
Purpose: At approximately 10:00AM on Monday December 9, 2024, the Public Works Utilities Supervisor received a call of a possible water line break at 2208 Paseo Primero within the Hyde Park Estates in Santa Fe County. As the County is responsible for the maintenance of the Hyde Park Estates water system, the Supervisor of the Department dispatched a crew to investigate the water line break.
Upon arrival the crew confirmed that there was a major break in the water line at the location and requested the assistance of a licensed plumbing contractor to mobilize to the site for further investigation and repairs. Once approved, the Department was successful in contacting Sub Surface Contracting to mobilize the same day. The Contractor was able to excavate the site and complete the repairs by the end of the day.
Due to the weather and the damage to the asphalt road, the Contractor had to return to the site to make the required repairs to the road.

Item: DOE - Determination - Repairs to Water Service Line Leak at 3 Desert Rain in Las Campanas

Purpose: At 4:00 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the Public Works Department Utilities Division was notified of water flowing down the street off Los Sueno’s Trail and the intersection of 3 Desert Rain in Las Campanas Subdivision. Upon Public Works Utility Staff investigation, an air relief line that is connected to a 10-inch water main was hit by a boring machine. The crew determined that a contractor would be required to excavate the line and make repairs to the main water line.

Item: DOE - Repairs to a Water Service Line Leak Located at Carson Valley Way

Purpose: On Friday October 3, 2025 at 10:51 pm, the Public Works Department Utilities Division was notified of water flowing down the street from 52 Carson Valley Way. Upon arrival at the location the Utilities Operations Manager investigated and confirmed the water flowing from the corner of Carson Valley Way and Canyon Cliff Drive. The Manager immediately notified the Utilities Director and informed him that he was shutting the isolation valves upstream and down to stop the water flow. The Utilities Director contacted the Procurement Manager to request an emergency determination to contact a contractor to begin location and repair of the source of the water line break.
