Deputies responded to ambulance assist for an unresponsive 65 year old male. Medics were unable to revive the male. Death appears to be cardiac arrest. No foul play suspected. Case is under investigation.

Arrested: Carlos Sanchez Age:26 Santa Cruz,NM
Victim stated the above person struck him in the face after an altercation about food. Vicitm did show minor signs of injury. When the suspect was interviewed, he stated there was an argument but denied striking the victim. Video footage did show the suspect striking the victim. The suspect was rebooked into the jail with the aditional charge.

Victim reported to deputies that on 6-23-2016 between the hours of 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm, unknown persons forced entry into the vehicle while it was parked at the location and stole the listed items. The case is currently under investigation.

Between 6:50 pm and 8:35 pm, unknown subjects forced entry into a 2010 Subaru Legacy that was parked at the above location and took the above listed items. Case is under investigation.

The above suspect (an inmate) was found to be in possession of suboxone while at the jail. Suspect was rebooked for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Vehicle: 1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass
Deputy Zook, while patrolling, conducted a check of the vehicle after noticing that it had been abandoned. The inquiry revealed that it had been stolen out of Los Lunas (Valencia County) on June 22, 2016. The vehicle was processed and Valencia County was notified of the recovery. Case is under investigation.

On the above date deputies were dispatched a reported burglary. The victim was contacted and he stated that he noticed the lock to front window of one of his vacant properties was damaged. Nothing was taken from the property and there was no further damage.

On 06-21-16 the victim reported he lent the above vehcle to a friend on June 17th, 2016. The friend was supposed to bring the vehicle back on the same day. The friend failed to return the vehicle and the victim has been unable to make contact with his friend. Prior to the vehicle being entered into NCIC the vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle crash in Pojoaque. The occupants of the vehicle fled prior to to Deputies arrival. Suspect information is pending at this time.
