On above date, Deputy Chastain was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to an inmate in possession of a controlled substance. Upon arrival it was determined the above inmate was found by jail staff to be in possession of a brown tar like substance consistent with heroin. The substance field tested positive for heroin and the inmate was rebooked without further incident.

Decedent: 74 year old male
On the above date, Deputies responded to the above location in regards to an unresponsive male. Upon arrival contact was made with the reporting party who advised she could not wake the male. The decedent appeared to have passed away during the night. There was no signs foul play. Cause of death is pending at this time.

Stolen: 2016 Ford Escape
On 12/13/16 the victim started the above vehicle to warm it up. When the victim went outside to leave the vehicle was gone. The vehicle was entered into NCIC and a BOLO was issued. The vehicle was located by Santa Fe PD and the above suspect was placed under arrest. The suspect was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.

On above date Deputy Moya was dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to an inmate found in possession of a controlled substance. Upon arrival it was determined the above inmate was found in possession of an orange film like substance consistent with Suboxone. Inmate Solis was rebooked without incident.

Victim reported several Fraud Departments notified him via telephone and by mail that unknown suspect(s) had used his identity (Date and birth and Social security) to apply for credit card accounts in four different locations. Case is under investigation.

Charges: Driving While License is Revoked, Speeding
On Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at approximately 12:03am, Deputy observed the vehicle speeding in the area. A traffic stop was conducted and contact was made with the driver, the suspect. Suspect had a revoked ignition interlock license with an arrest clause attached if the suspect is operating a vehicle without an interlock. There was not an ignition interlock within the vehicle and the suspect was placed under arrest under the 66-8-122G arrest clause. Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident. The vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 amended 2013-5.

On above date Deputies were dispatched to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center in reference to a narcotics violation. Upon arrival it was found the above inmate was found in possession of a green leafy substance and several unidentified pills. The green leafy substance tested positive for marijuana and the pills were submitted to the crime lab for analysis. Inmate was rebooked without further incident.

Suspect: Sherilee Cheromiah
On above date, Deputy Jaramillo was dispatched to the above location in reference to the embezzlement of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival it was determined the victim had loaned the above vehicle to Sherilee Cheromiah to run an errand. After several hours the suspect had not returned the vehicle and would not answer or return phone calls from the victim. The vehicle was entered into NCIC and an arrest warrant drafted and entered for the suspect.
