It was learned that the defendant was drinking alcoholic beverages prior to the crash and was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol while driving. Charges’ pending through Magistrate Court as the driver was admitted to an area hospital for treatment.

On Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 10:08pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Suspect awakened victim by battering her. Suspect then armed himself with a knife and threatened the victim. Suspect refused to cooperate with deputies upon their arrival. Suspect pulled away from deputies as they were attempting to handcuff the suspect. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without further incident. Victim did not receive any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.

On Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 8:37pm, Deputy responded to location in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle. During the day an unknown suspect removed a wallet belonging to the victim by reaching in through an open window to the victim's vehicle. The wallet contained cash, a driver's license, and credit cards. Ivestigation is ongoing.
