Suspects; Unknown

Deputies responded to the above location in regards to a burglary.  Deputies learned between 2:30PM and 8:30PM and unknown suspect entered the residence and removed the above items.  Case is still under investigation, no suspects have been identified.

Location: 2900 block of West Alameda (Santa Fe)

Arrested: David Romero 30 yoa male Santa Fe

Deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute. Investigation revealed the suspect had battered his wife by slapping her mouth and pulling her hair. Suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail without further incident.

Damaged: Door with glass panel

On 07-11-16 the complainant reported someone broke the glass on the north facing door. the incident took place sometime between 07-10-16 at 7-11-16. Once the unknown suspect(s) broke the glass, the unknown suspect(s) entered the residence. However, it did not appear anything was taken at this time. The homeowner will be completing a check of the residence to see if anything was taken. Suspect information is pending at this time.

Location: 100 Block of Cities of Gold Road, Santa Fe, NM (Pojoaque).

Suspect: Pending

Stolen: $600.00 U.S. currency, red leather wallet, misc cards

Victim was at the gas station and dropped her wallet with the above mentioned items in the parking lot. Surveillance shows an unknown male subject picking up the item and leaving the area shortly after. Case is under investigation.


0216010768-Battery Against a Household Member, Criminal Damge to Property of a household member- 7-10-16

Location- 100 Block of Camino De Los Ranchos

Person Arrested- Mark Montoya 25 yo Chimayo

Deputies were dispatched to the above address reference to a domestic dispute. Upon investigation, it was determined that above suspect punched several holes in the wall of his mother's residence and also battered his mother during the argument. Subject was booked accordingly.

Person Arrested- Michael Martinez 27 yo Santa Fe

Deputy was dispatched to the above location reference to an assault.  Upon investigation, it was found that the above listed suspect had battered two detention officers and assaulted another.  He was re booked accordingly.

0216010684-Aggravated DWI- 7-8-16

Location- County Road 44 / State Road 14

Person Arrested- Juan Gonzales 48 yo Santa Fe

Above listed person was observed driving erratically on State Road 14.  A traffic stop was conducted and upon making contact an odor of an intoxicant was noted on his breath. Standard field sobriety tests were administered and he showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested.

On this date, victim was playing a game online when they were informed that they had won a prize.  Victim then received a phone call from Publishers Clearing House and was asked to provide personal information and was also told to send $600 in order to receive the prizes. Victim called Publishers Clearing House directly and found out that it was a scam.

Case is under investigation.

Sometime between Saturday, July 2ndand Wednesday, July 6th, someone stole a Solar Tech – Junior Messenger Board from Highway 14 between Madrid and Golden NM.   The item is described as an Orange, electric construction message sign, on a trailer with wheels.  Value of trailer - $20,000.00
