Neighbor stated between July 5, 2016 and July 7, 2016 an unknown person(s) entered the residence through an unlocked garage door and took above items. Neighbor advised the residence has been in foreclosure for sometime and does not know who owns the residence. Investigation is ongoing.

Arrested: Henry Trujillo Age: 45 Espanola, NM
A Deputy initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle after observing the vehicle speeding. Upon contacting the driver, the deputy requested the vehicle and driver information. The deputy observed that the validation sticker had been altered and also did not belong to the license plate that was displayed on the vehicle. The deputy arrested the driver for the above violations and transported him to jail where he was booked accordingly

In Late May or early June 2016 suspect obtained the victims personal information while the victim was at work. Victim discovered the theft when three transactions were made to her Elite Paycheck Plus Card for $327, $163, $161. Investigation is on going.

Victim stated he lost his Cell Phone and went to a Verizon Store to Purchase a new one and was advised that an unknown person opened a separate account. The unknown person left a balance of $400.00 Victim stated the past due needed to be paid before he could get a new phone. Investigation is ongoing.

Deceased: Male, 59, Santa Fe, NM
On Monday, July 4th, 2016 at approximately 8:59pm, Deputies responded to location in reference to an unresponsive male. The male was on hospice care and had a Do Not Resuscitate order in place. The male did have pre-existing medical issues. There were no signs of foul play and it appears the male passed away due to natural causes.

On 07-04-16 the above Deputy was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival contact was made with a neighbor, who advised he heard a car door opening. When he went outside an unknown vehicle sped away from the residence. Upon further inspection a car door was found open at the above location. At this time it is unknown if anything was stolen from inside the vehicle. Suspect information is pending.

Charges: Battery Against a Household member; Resisting, Evading or Obstructing an Officer
On Monday, July 4, 2016, at approximately 12:48am, deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Suspect and victim were involved in an argument. During the argument suspect battered the victim. Suspect then hid in the area to avoid police. Suspect was later located on the property and knew police were looking for him. Suspect was placed under arrest, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. Victim did not receive any life threatening injuries as a result of this incident.
