Victim reported to Deputy that the suspect had struck him during a verbal argument. Victim sustained visible injuries and suspect was arrested and taken to jail.

Stolen: various autoparts and electronics

  On June 07, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of Valle Vista in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived and were advised by the victim that between the hours of 11:30 am and 2:30 pm unknown suspect(s) gained unauthorized entry into the victims home. Once entry once gained suspect(s) took various electronics and auto parts. This case remains under investigation.

Location: NM 14 and Rancho Viejo Blvd, Santa Fe, NM

Arrested: Shauna Winchester, 28 yoa female, Albuquerque, NM

Charges: DWI and Careless Driving

Deputy observed a White Mazda 3 turn into oncoming traffic almost striking the Deputy's patrol unit at the above location.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.  Upon contact with the driver, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from the driver's person.  SFST's were administered and driver displayed signs of impairment.  Suspect was placed under arrest and read the NM Implied Consent Advisory.  Suspect submitted to a breath test resulting in a BrAC of .11/.11.  Suspect was booked and charged accordingly on the above charges without further incident.

Location: 3991 Camino Juliana, Santa Fe, NM (Airport Road Area)

Suspect: William Corbine, 36 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Charges: Child Abuse, and Battery on a Household Member

Victim reports she got into a verbal argument with the above suspect at the above location.  The argument turned physical where the suspect grabbed the victim by the hair and drug her to the bedroom.  Victim was holding a ten (10) month old child at this time.  Suspect grabbed the child and threw the child onto the bed.  Victim was pushed to the ground where she was choked and her head slammed into a door.  Injuries were observed on both victims.  Suspect was arrested on the above charges without further incident.

Suspect:  Marlon Guite, 58, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI, Careless Driving

 

On Friday, June 6, 2014 at 10:45 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and made a wide radius left turn striking the curb.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and a prescription medication.  The suspect submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test.  The results of that test are pending.

Location:  State Road 599 at Interstate 25, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Red, 1991, Chevy, Pick-up

Suspect:  Tony E. Vargas, 43, Santa Fe, NM

Charged:  DWI (Felony), Open Container

On Friday June 6, 2014 atb 6:56 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location.   The suspect had been reported via 9-1-1 as a possible impaired driver.  The driver was located and found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.  The suspect was also in possession of an open can of Budweiser Beer.  The suspect has four (4) prior DWI Offenses.  The vehicle was not seized pursuant to Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5 as this incident took place in the City of Santa Fe.

Stolen: White IPhone 5C 32 GB Phone Total Estimated Value: $560.00

Victim reports sometime between the hours of 9:21pm and 11:21pm unknown person(s) stole the above item from the above location.  Victm last remembers the phone being placed in an external pocket of her purse before entering the casino.  Case still pending further investigation.

Location: 100 block of County Road 84C, Santa Fe, NM (El Rancho Area)

Victim: 91 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a unresponsive male.  Upon arrival male subject was not responsive and not breathing.  Male suffered from Alzheimers and recently had a steady decline in health.  There were no signs of foul play.

Arrested: William Vigil 33yoa male Santa Fe NM

On June 5th, 2014 Victim reported  her boyfriend Mr. Vigil had punched her on the right side of her face, and strangled her by putting her in a choke hold while in the driveway of their residence. Mr. Vigil fled the scene on foot and was located shortly after hiding in the bathroom of the Shell Gas Station located at 7510 Airport Road. Mr. Vigil was arrested and booked without further incident.

On 06-04-14 between the hours of 8:30AM and 9:00AM someone entered the victim's vehicle by breaking a side window.  The suspect stole the victim's purse from within the vehicle.
