On Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 11:18 PM, Deputies responded to location in reference to forgery. Sometime during the day an unidentified suspect used a counterfeit bill at location.


Case# 0215000104 DWI

Location:  State Road 599 at Ridge Top Road, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle:  Red, 2004, Volvo, Stationwagon

Suspect:  Joshua Dewbre, 32, Angel Fire, NM

Charged:  DWI, Duty Upon Striking a Fixture, Mandatory Proof of Financial Responsibility

On Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 5:10 PM a call was received about a vehicle being driven on its rim in the area of State Road 599 and Camino La Teierra.  A short time later the vehicle was found on the shoulder of State Road 599 at Ridge Top Road.  The suspect stated that he had struck a curb at an unknown location.  The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.  The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater.


Case #0215000074, Aggravated Burglary (Auto)

Location: 1300 block of Calle Inez, Santa Fe, NM

Vehicle: 2014 Blue Dodge Durango

Victim: Male, 60, Santa Fe, NM

Victim: Female, 59, Santa Fe, NM

Suspects: 2 Hispanic males, late teens/early 20s

On Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:56 PM, victims arrived at location when two unidentified suspect males attacked the male victim. One of the unidentified males removed the female's purse from the vehicle. The purse was removed from the vehicle without force. The male victim was able to get female's purse back from one of the suspects. Female victim was able to dial 9-1-1 and the suspects fled the area. Male victim was treated at the scene by medics for non-life threatening injuries. Female victim was not injured as a result of this incident.


0215000076 - AGG DWI - 1/3/15

Location: US 84/285 West Frontage - Cuyamungeh Area

Arrested: Dominic Casiquito - age 36, Jemez Pueblo

Driver was involved in a single motor vehicle crash around 3:30am on January 3, 2015. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. He submitted to a breath test and the results were .20 and .21 BrAC. He was booked into ADC accordingly.

Location: Via Conejo Rd. Edgewood, New Mexico 87015

Arrested: Philip Fiorenzio, 64 years of age, Edgewood NM. 87015

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a domestic disturbance. An altercation between husband and wife ensued and evidence /statements at the scene revealed the above arrestee restrained the victim unlawfully and prevented the victim to utilize the telephone to contact law enforcement when the altercation took place. The arrestee was charged and booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult detention facility without incident.


Case #0215000035, Driving While License Revoked

Location: US Highway 84/285 Mile Marker 180

Vehicle: 2003 Black Land Rover

Suspect: Mark McNair, 49, Espanola, NM

Charges: Driving While License Revoked, Registration Required

On Thursday, January 1, 2015 at 10:46 PM, vehicle was observed traveling on the roadway with an expired registration at location. Traffic stop was made with vehicle and contact was made with the suspect. Suspect was run through N.C.I.C. and returned with a revoked driver's license with the 66-8-122G arrest clause. Suspect also had an active arrest warrant. Suspect was arrested, transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility. Vehicle was seized under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5.


0215000025 / Burglary / 1-1-2015

Location: Camino Cerrado    Santa Fe,NM     (Pojoaque area)

Victim reported to deputy that sometime between December 31, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. and January 1, 2015 at 4:30 p.m., unknown persons entered her vehicle while it was parked in the driveway and stole the listed items. Case is under investigation.


0214020293 / Battery against a household member / 12-31-2014

Location:800 block of 599 West Frontage Road  Santa Fe,NM

Suspect: Female    Age: 17

Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, deputies were told that the suspect became violent and injured two victims in the process. The suspect was arrested and taken to jail after JPO was notified.

Arrested: Jorge L. Bencomo-Mendoza, 21 years of age, Santa Fe, NM 87506

Deputies responded to a motor vehicle crash at the above stated location. The above arrestee fled the scene of the crash on foot. A short foot pursuit ensued but the arrestee was caught, showed signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested on the above charges.

Suspect: Rafael Rascon, 37, Kansas City, KS

Charges: Concealing Identity, Driver Must Be Licensed, Failure to Stop at Red Light

On Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 10:54 PM, vehicle was observed traveling west on Airport Road and failed to stop at red light at above location. Vehicle was stopped and driver provided a false name and date of birth. Driver's last name was provided by a friend of the driver. Driver was run through N.C.I.C. which showed he did not have a valid driver's license. Driver was arrested, transported, and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.
