On July 08, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of 300 State Road 76 in reference to a reported breaking and entering. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who advised that unknown suspect gained unauthorized entry into the victims home, once. Victim reported that nothing appeared to be missing at this time. This case remains under investigation.

Deputies arrived and made contact with the complainant who advised that unknown suspects gained unauthorized entry into the home. Once entry was gained suspects rummaged through the home. Complainant advised that northing was taken. This case remains under investigation.

Victim reported that he paid suspect over $3,000 to complete work at his home. Victim reported the job was not completed and cash given to the suspect to purchase material was never delivered to him by the suspect. Contact with the suspect is pending as this case remains under investigation.

On Monday July 07, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to an address on Gils Way in reference to a reported burglary. Deputies arrived and made contact with the victim who advised that unknown suspects gained unlawful entry into the home. Once entry was gained unknown suspects caused over $1,000 in damages to the home. Evidence was collected. this case remains under investigation.

Arrested: Christopher Barela - age 43 - Santa Fe, NM
Deputies investigated a domestic dispute at the above location. Victim reported that her ex-boyfriend went to her house wanting to speak with her. When her roommate wouldn't open the door, the ex-boyfriend kicked the door open and went inside. He fled after the roommate threatened to call police. The suspect was not located and a warrant was obtained for his arrest.

Vehicle: 2007 White/White Pontiac
On July 5, 2014 Deputies responded to the Allsups located at 2 Vista Del Monte in reference to a domestic violence. Upon arrival to the location Deputies made contact with the reporting party who stated she had been involved in a physical altercation with her boyfriend while traveling in a vehicle on Rancho Viejo. During the altercation the victim stated she was struck in the face and bit numerous times on her body while the boyfriend restrained her with her seatbelt . Attempts were made to locate the boyfriend but were unsuccessful at this time. A warrant for his arrest was obtained and entered into NCIC.
