Location: Highway 285 Mile Marker 274, Santa Fe, NM (Lamy Area)
Arrested: Johnny Marquez, 38 yoa male, Espanola NM
Charges: Aggravated DWI, Open Container, Reckless Driving, and Driving while license revoked
Deputies observed a Green in color Toyota Tacoma driving at a high rate of speed on Highway 285 almost causing a crash. Deputies then observed the vehicle pulled off the roadway at the above location. Contact was made with the driver who was slumped over the steering wheel. Upon contact with the driver, Deputies observed an open container of an alcoholic beverage. SFST's were administered on the driver, which displayed signs of impairment. Driver was placed under arrest and read the NM Implied Consent Advisory. Suspect refused to provide a breath sample or blood. Suspect was ran through NM Motor Vehicles where it was learned he had a revoked license with the arrest clause. Suspects vehicle was seized pursuant to the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5. Suspect was booked and charged accordingly without further incident.

On Wednesday May22, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of Cities of Gold Road in reference to a reported assault with a weapon. Contact was made with the victim who advised a suspect pointed a weapon at him for unknown reason. The suspect was located and was found with the weapon identified by the victim. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Santa Fe County Detention Center.

Location: # Waldo Mesa Road, Santa Fe, NM, 87010 ( Madrid Area)
On Wednesday May 22, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of Waldo Mesa Road in reference to a reported domestic disturbance. Contact was made with the victim who advised she and her partner had been fighting on and off for several days. Victim further advised that on todays date the suspect armed herself with a weapon and threatened to harm the victim. Suspect did not allow the victim to immediately leave the home during the assault. The victim was eventually able to leave the home and call for help. The home and surrounding area was searched for the suspect. The suspect was not located during the time of investigation. The search for the suspect is ongoing.

Deputies responded to location in regards to a neighbor dispute.Upon deputy arrival,it was learned that the suspect struck two victims in the head with a metal pole causing injury. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail where he was booked accordingly.

Deputies responded to location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon deputy arrival, it was learned that the suspect struck her husband multiple times during an altercation causing visible injuries. Suspect was arrested and taken to jail where she was booked accordingly.

Deputy responded to the Amtrack Train station in reference to an unruly passenger. Upon arrival the suspect was found to be intoxicated and was loud, abussive and argumentative with other passengers and was escorted off the train by its staff. Subject refused to calm down and was ultimately arrested, taken to jail and charged accordingly.

Arrested: Santiago Garcia, 49 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: DWI-Felony, Driving while license revoked, Open Container, Roadways laned for traffic, and No Insurance
Deputy observed a Green in color Ford Explore at the above location fail to maintain its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted, at which time contact was made with the driver. Driver had an odor of alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. Driver refused to preform SFST's and to submit to a breath test or blood draw. Driver was placed under arrest. A check of the drivers license was conducted through NM Motor Vehicles which revealed that the driver had 4 or more DUI offenses and had a revoked license. A search warrant was obtained for a blood draw. The vehicle was found to not be insured and several bottles of alcoholic beverages with their contents partially missing were found inside the vehicle. Vehicle was seized as pursuant to the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5. Suspect was arrested and booked accordingly.

Deputies responded to the above location in reference to a residential alarm at approximately 8:03 pm. Deputies found unlawful forced entry through a south facing french door. Victim reports the above item was taken. Total estimated value of damage $1022.00. Case still pending further investigation.
