Victim: Male, 66, Ssnta Cruz, NM
On Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:06 PM Emergency Medical Services Personnel responded to a residence at the location in reference to an unresponsive male. Upon arrival the victim was found to be without signs of life. The victim had a significant medical history to include cardiac issues. The victim was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene. Foul play is not suspected in this incident.

Location: 1400 Block, Boylan Court, Santa Fe, NM
On Friday, June 20, 2014 at 10:43 PM person(s) unknown, utilizing unknown means, gained entry to to a storage facility at the location. Once entry was gained person(s) unknown removed a whell barrel and a large roll of power cable from the shed. The property was left outside the shed when the suspects fled the scene on foot.

Deputies responded to the above address in regards to an alarm. When deputies arrived it was noted that a screen was torn and a small window was opened. Deputies noticed a small shoe impression in the living room, but nothing appeared to be missing from the residence. Case is still under investigation.

Arrested: Emitt Ortiz (18), Santa Fe NM
Correction Officers located the suspect in possession of cocaine. When questioned about the cocaine the suspect admitted to holding the narcotic for someone. Suspect was arrested for the above charge without incident.

On Friday, June 20, 2014 at 2:21 AM an unidentified male entered a bussiness at the location, brandished an unknown type hand gun and demanded money. The suspect fled the bussiness on foot with an unknown disclosed amount of money. Nobodywas injured as a result of this incident.

Suspect: Loren G. Testa, 37, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: DWI, Careless Driving, Negligent Use of a Deadly Weapon
On Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:43 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location. For reason(s) unknown the suspect lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the right side and striking a road sign. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. The suspect was also found to be in possession of a Kel Teck 9MM pistol.

Suspect: Rodger Griego, 21, Santa Fe, NM
Charged: Aggravated DWI, No Seat Belt, Warrant - Failure to Appear
On Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 6:50 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle south at the location without wearing a seat belt. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test. The suspect was found to be in possession of blue in color, glass type, smoking device containing suspected burnt marijuana residue. A check with the National Crime Information Center revealed that there was an active Arrest Warrant for the suspect issued by the 1st Judicial District Court for Failure to Appear.

Victim reported on June 18,2014 between 5:45 pm and 7:00 pm an unknown person broke into her locker at the wellness center and stole the above item. Investigation is on-going.

On Thursday June 19, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies resonded to the area of Electric Avenue in reference to a reported burglary. Contact was made with the victim who advised that on todays date (06-19-14) between the hours of 7:15 am and 6:15 pm suspects gained unlawful entry into the victims and an took electronics and US currency. The scene was processed accordingly. This case remains under investigation.

The above wanted male was taken into custody on an active warrant for Aggravated Driving While Under the Influence, Aggravated Fleeing a Law Enforcement Officer, Driving while license revoked and criminal damage to property. Suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.
