Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle motor vehicle crash at the listed location. Upon arriving they observed a vehicle that had crashed into a fence. Deputies during the investigation identified the driver who displayed signs of impairment. The driver refused to submit to Standardized Field Sobriety Testing and also refused to submit to chemical testing. Driver was cited for the crash and arrested for DWI. Driver was transported to jail and booked accordingly. Vehicle was not seized due to the heavy front end damage.

On May 14, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff Deputies responded to the Santa Fe County Detention Center in reference to a reported narcotics violation. Upon Deputies arrival contact was made with the Jail staff who advised they located a suspect narcotic that an unknown suspect was attempting to smuggle into the jail. The suspected narctotic was taken as evidence. This case remains under investigation.

On Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 8:54 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location when she lost control of the vehicle allowing it to leave the roadway on the right side and stike a cable barrier system. The suspect then fled the scene in the vehicle and was located a short distance later. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test. The suspect was found to in possession of several open bottles of Bud Light Beer.
