Arrested: Darrell Ferguson 51 yoa male, Santa Fe, NM
Charges: Driving on a Suspended or Revoked, and Speeding
Deputy assisted Pojoaque Tribal Police Department on a traffic stop with a White in color Subaru Outback at the above location for traveling 63mph in a 45mph zone. Upon contact with the driver it was found he was operating a vehicle on a revoked license. A check through the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles which revealed the license was revoked with an arrest clause. Driver was arrested and the vehicle was siezed under the Santa Fe County Ordinance 2006-5.

Arrested: Melanie Lopez 49 yoa female, Espanola NM
Charges: DUI, and Roadways Laned for Traffic
Deputy observed a Gold in color Honda Civic at the above location failing to maintain its lane of travel. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, at which time a odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected emitting from the drivers person. Driver admitted to consuming two Budweiser beers prior to driving. SFTS's were adminstered at which time the driver displayed signs of impairment. Driver was arrested and advised of the New Mexico Implied Consent Advisory. Driver submitted breath sample resulting in BrAC .14/.15. Driver was booked and charged accordingly without further incident.

On Monday, February 10, 2014 at 8:23 PM deputies were conducting an investigation at a residence at the location in reference to a possible Domestic Disturbance which had taken place at a different location. During the investigation the suspect, who was under the influence of an intoxicating liquor, began to yell and scream which which disturbed the peace of several residents in the area. The suspect refused to obey commands from the deputies and when they tried to restrain her she attempted to pull awayb from their control

On 02.10.14 at about 4:22 pm the above listed defendant was observed slumped over the steering wheel of his vehicle by a citizen. Upon locating the subject he was attempting to start his vehicle. Subject had bloodshot watery eyes, and an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. SFST's were administered and subject showed signs of impairment. Subject submitted to a blood draw, and had two active warrants for his arrest; he also had a suspended/revoked driver’s license. He was taken into custody and transported to ADC and charged with DWI.

On 02.10.14 at about 3:30 pm victim reported a male subject stole her backpack with an IPad and case valued at $520.00. The theft was captured on video, and the above suspect was located and taken into custody.

On this date victim reported that sometime between 1/7/14 and 1/10/14 some unknown person(s) forced entry into a storage room connected to the above residence. Upon entering the residence the above items were stolen.
The above items stolen were valued at about $1820.00

On February 10, 2014 Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to Santa Fe Adult Detention Center. Contact was made with Corrections Officers who found (2) inmates to be in possession of a suspected narcotic and drug paraphernalia. The items were taken as evidence and the suspects were charged accordingly.

On February 09, 2014, Santa Fe Sheriff's Deputies responded to the Cities of Gold Casino in reference to a reported criminal damage. Upon Deputies arrival it was discovered that an unknown suspect damaged a slot machine. This case remains under investigation.

On Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 11:03 PM the suspect was operating the vehicle north at the location and was breaking traction (spinning) the vehicle's rear tires. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .08 or greater. A check with the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file for the suspect.

Deputies were dispatched to shots fired in the area of Gun Barrel Road. Suspect was located, and it was found that he was involved in a verbal argument with a household member. Suspect exited the residence, at which time he discharged a .45 cal handgun. It was discovered that the suspect had an odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his person. Suspect admitted to drinking, and shooting his firearm. Subject was taken into custody and transported to ADC without incident and booked.
