On March 1st,2014 SFRECC received a call of a motor vehicle crash at Southfork and Cedar Road. Upon arrival at the scene the driver of the crashed vehicle had left the scene. After about 20 minutes the driver returned to the scene driving his father's vehicle. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and standardized field sobriety tests were administered. Driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested. Driver refused a breath test. Driver was taken to the Santa Fe County Detention Center where he was booked accordingly.

On 03-02-14 at about 5:23AM a black GMC Sierra truck was observed at the intersection of Rodeo Road and Zia with the driver passed out in the driver seat. Contact was made and signs of intoxication were observed. The driver failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. He was transported to St. Vincent Hospital for a legal blood draw prior to being booked into the Santa Fe County Jail.

On Sunday, March 2, 2014 at 4:53 AM the suspect was operating the vehicle west at the location and was unable to maintain a single lane of travel. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and refused to submit to a Breathalyzer Test. A check with the New Mexico department of Motor Vehicles revealed no driver's license on file for the suspect. This check also revealed that the vehicle registration expired on December 31, 2012. There were three open bottles of Corona Beer under the right front seat. The suspect was unable to produce proof of insurance upon request.

On March 1st 2014 A traffic stop was conducted by Deputies on a grey in color Ford Ranger after receiving reports of it being operated in a reckless manner. Throughout the investigation Deputy Garcia observed the operator of the vehicle display signs of impairment by an intoxicant. The operator was subsequently arrested. A blood draw was performed on the operator. Results Are Pending

Victim reported an unknown male stopped him while he was traveling on Frost Road near Weathersby Road. Victim stated the suspect who was driving a dark sport utility vehicle brandished a handgun while yelling at the victim about him running a stop sign. The suspect was not located in the area. Case is still under investigation.
