Deputies conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle for traffic infractions. While making contact with Mr. Law, an open, alcoholic beverage was observed in a cupholder. Mr. Law agreed to perform SFST's and displayed signs of impairment. Mr. Law was placed under arrest and agreed to provide breath samples. Following the breath sample, Mr. Law was booked accordingly.

On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, deputies responded to the above area for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, contact was made with the above male. During the course of the investigation, it was discovered he had an active bench warrant. Once it was confirmed to be valid, he was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility where he was booked accordingly and without incident.

On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, deputies responded to the above location for a report of a reckless driver who had crashed into another vehicle. It was also reported the above suspect had struck the victim's vehicle several times while traveling north on Interstate 25. Contact was made with the suspect, whose vehicle was disabled. She displayed signs of impairment and she consented to SFSTs. She was subsequently placed under arrest and she was read the NM Implied Consent Advisory. The suspect did consent to chemical testing. She was transported to the Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office. There, she provided two breath samples which were over double the legal limit. She was later booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility without incident.

Deputies responded to a cardiac arrest. SFC Medics arrived and attempting life saving measures but were unsuccessful. OMI was called to the scene and no foul play was obsrerved. Case is under investigation.

Arrested- Benigno Garcia-Galcia (37 year old male/ Santa Fe) Charges- Aggravated DWI, Open Container, Warrant Arrest x2
Deputies were given a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) for a vehicle occupied by males attempting to solicit females walking along Cerrillos. Deputy M. Ward located the vehicle on Cerrillos and Siler Rd. The plate that was displayed on the vehicle returned to a different vehicle and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DWI. He was also found to have two outstanding warrants. The passenger, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the stop, refused to identify himself and had to be removed from the vehicle. He resisted arrest but was eventually handcuffed and identified. He was found to have an outstanding felony warrant. While being walked into the SF ADC, he kicked a deputy. Both were booked on the listed charges.

Arrested- Ricardo Crespo-Aguina (54 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Deputies contacted Ricardo on a welfare check, and he informed deputies he drove to the location and began drinking. He was found to have a revoked driver's license due to a previous DWI. He was arrested and later booked at the SF ADC.

DEPUTIES WERE DISPATCHED TO A SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE IN THE DRIVEWAY OF THE CALLER'S RESIDENCE. UPON ARRIVAL, DEPUTIES LOCATED A VEHICLE CRASHED IN A DITCH IN FRONT OF THE CALLERS HOUSE. THE DRIVER DISPLAYED SIGNS OF IMPAIRMENT AND WAS ARRESTED FOR DWI. DEPUTIES LEARNED THAT THE SUSPECT HAD A REVOKED DRIVER'S LICENSE DUE TO A PREVIOUS DWI. HE AGREED TO PROVIDE A BREATH SAMPLE AS WELL AS A BLOOD SAMPLE. HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE SFSO WHERE HE PROVIDED BREATH SAMPLES OF .11/.11 BRAC. HE WAS THEN TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL WHERE HIS BLOOD WAS DRAWN. HE WAS LATER BOOKED AT THE SF ADC.

Deputies arived to the above listed residenec and learned of the following: The listed victim owns the residence but is currently renting it to another individual. The victim arrived at the residence to retrieve tools from sheds located on the property. Upon doing so, the victim observed that numerous miscellaneous tools had been stolen from the sheds. Deputies made contact with the renter of the residence, who denied entering the sheds or taking any tools. At this time, there is no suspect information available.
