Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a burglary. Deputies were advised the property had been recently vacated by the renters. The homeowner believed the previous tenants had stolen plants and two sculptures valued at $3500 after they left the property.
Case #2025005469 Unattended Death

Deceased: 56 YOA male, Santa Fe
Deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to an unattended death. Deputies arrived on scene and observed the decedent was beyond medical help. The Office of the Medical Investigator was contacted and responded to the scene. No signs of foul play were observed.

A worker at the location observed shed had been broken into. He noticed the padlock was damaged and the contents from inside the shed were missing. The items stolen consisted of jack stands and jack extensions. Case is under ivestigation.

Victim reported she purchased a shed from a male. The shed was delivered. After some time had passed, victim was contact by the owner of the shed, PACK RAT and advised the shed was only rented. It was learned the suspect was advertising the sheds as for sale, would collect payment then rent a shed from the company. Case is under investigation.

Foster parent reported the child he is fostering ran away from home near the Pojoaque area. Possible addresses were check without results. Child has been entered into NCIC as missing. Case is under investigation.

Victim reported he wrote a check and the check was intercepted, altered and then cashed for a higher amount. Case is under investigation.
Case #2025005419/ DUI/ Driving the Wrong Way (one-way roadways)/ 9/15/25

Arrested- Omar Oliver (25 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- NM 599/ Airport Rd
Deputies were dispatched to the area of NM 599 and I 25 West Frontage Rd in reference to a wrong way driver. The caller stated a silver Chevy sedan was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of NM 599. Deputies quickly responded to the area and caught up to the vehicle as it was passing Jaguar Dr, still driving northbound in the southbound lanes. A traffic stop was conducted near NM 599 and Airport Rd. The driver displayed signs of impairment and he was arrested for DUI. He was transported to the hospital where his blood was drawn. He was later booked at the SF ADC.

Arrested- Ubaldo Heredia Ramos (49 year old male/ Rio Communities, NM)
Location- Agua Fria Rd/ Henry Lynch Rd
Ubaldo was conacted by deputies during a traffic stop, after he did not stop at a stop sign. During contact with Ubaldo, he displayed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DUI. Initially, he agreed to provide a breath sample and was transported to the SFSO. Later, he refused to provide a sample, and he was then booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2025005398/ Resisting Evading an Officer/ Lamps Required on Bicycles/ 9/14/25

Arrested- Jose Gallegos (44 year old male/ Santa Fe)
Location- Airport Rd/ Cerrillos Rd
Deputies attempted to stop Jose while he was riding a bike on Airport Rd with no lights. Jose fled on foot, but was quickly apprehended. He was later booked at the SF ADC.
Case #2025005392 / Receiving Stolen Property (Firearm) / 09/14/2025

Stolen / Recovered: Glock 21, .45 ACP
Arrested: Douglas Baier (55 YOM)
Deputies responded to a call for service in reference to criminal trespass. During the investiagtion, firearms were discovered in the vehicle of Mr. Baier. Mr. Baier allowed deputies to perform an NCIC inquiry on the weapons. One firearm was returned as stolen. Mr. Baier was placed under arrest and booked accordingly.
