Driver #3:  Louana Abreu, 30, Las Vegas, NM

On Monday, March 4, 2013 at 6:30 PM the suspect was operating Vehicle #1 southbound in the northbound lanes of travel of I-25 at Mile Marker 292.  Multiple 9-1-1 calls were received.  At 6:34 PM another 9-1-1 call was received advising of a motor vehicle crash at Mile Marker 289. Driver #2 was operating Vehicle #2 north at Mile Marker 289 in the inside lane with Passenger #2.  Driver #3 was operating Vehicle #3 north at Mile Marker 289, in the inside lane. directly behind Vehicle #2.  As a result the left front of Vehicle #1 struck the the left front of Vehicle #2.  After this impact the left front of Vehicle #1 then struck the left front of Vehicle #3.  All occupants were transported by ambulance to Christus Saint Vincent Regional Medical Ceter for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.  Driver #2, who was 29 weeks pregnant, under went emergency surgery and delivered an infant male.  The infant male was subsequently airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital for further treatment.  Driver #2 was admitted to the Medical Center for observation.  Driver #1 was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and submitted to a Blood Alcohol Test.  The results of this test are pending.  Driver #1 was subsequently transported by ambulance to the University of New Mexico Hospital where she was treated for an eye injury and released.

Deputy responded to report of Burglary in progress.  Suspect fled prior to Deputy arrival.  Forced entry discovered through side door. Victim responded and reports several rifles, electronics and coins stolen.  Case is under investigation

On above date deputies were dispatched to above address in reference to a missing person. The reporting party wanted to report that her daughter Esperanza Velasquez ran away from home.

Last seen: (on 03-04-2013, evening hours at home, wearing black jacket, black jeans, grey in color Nike 'Jordan" shoes and has two (2) tattoos- Butterfly on the back of her neck and "Javier" on her chest) He was entered into NCIC and the Missing Persons Clearinghouse

Location:  residence off of Tomasini Court, Moriarty, NM (off of Martin Road)

On 3/4/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between 1200 p,m. and 5:30 p.m. unknown suspects gained entry by kicking the front door.  Victim stated that unknown suspects stole misc. jewelry, a jewelry tray, an Apple Ipad, a Kindle, a Nexus tablet and $40.00 in change.  Estimated value of items taken is $5,990.00.  Estimated damage amount is $250.00.

On 3/4/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that sometime between 3/3/13 at 1700 hours and 3/4/13 at 1700 hours unknown suspects proceeded to the barn and opened the unsecured doors.  Suspects stole misc. horse equipment and 4 bales of hay.  Estimated value of the items taken is $1502.00.

On 3/4/13 deputy was dispatched to above location in reference to a burglary.  Victim stated that between midnight and noon today unknown persons gained entry into his vehicle by cutting the plastic to the back window and opening the door.  Victim stated that unknown persons stole a 3 knife set, a Gerber double blade knife, a box of bullets, a range finder, 2 sets of binoculars and an 18" Asp.  Estimated value of items taken is $1110.00.  Estimated value of items taken is $400.00

On 3/4/13 deputy was dispatched to above address in reference to a larceny.  Victim stated that between 3/3/13 at 2100 hours and 3/4/13 at 1700 hours an unknown suspect took 3 purple 20" rims with Nitto tires from the side of his residence.  Estimated value of the tires and rims is $800.00.

Charged:  Aggravated DWI, Open Container, No Insurance

On 3/4/13 deputy was dispatched to the above location in reference to a possible intoxicated driver.  Contact was made with an Agent of the Santa Fe Sheriff's Dept. who stated that the suspect got into his vehicle, started it and put it in reverse.  The agent stopped the vehicle and called for a marked unit.  Deputy arrived on scene made contact with the suspect who had an odor of an intoxicant emitting from his breath.  Suspect admitted to drinking.  Suspect refused to submit to SFST's and was placed under arrest.  Suspect was read the implied consent and agreed to be tested.  Suspect was given a breath test in which the BrAC results were .23 and .25.  Suspect was transported and booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Center.
