On Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 3:08 AM the suspect was found passed out in the vehicle, with the engine on in the parking lot at the location. The suspect was found to be under the influence of an intoxicating liquor and had a Breath Alcohol Content of .16 or greater. There was an open can of Bud Light Beer in the cup holder. The suspect was also found to be in possession of a Ruger, .40 caliber, semi-automatic handgun.

Stolen: (2) antique tin chandelier lights and (2) antique teal in color wood cabinet doors.
Victim reported that sometime between March 20, 2013 at 4:30pm and March 22, 2013 at 12:30pm unknown persons gained unauthorized access into the victim’s house and took the above items. There were signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

Santa Fe County Jail staff while doing a check of the facility, found suspected controlled substances in the front restroom of the jail. The substance was tested and will be sent to the crime for further analysis. Case is under investigation.

On this date Deputies responded to the above address in reference to an unattended death. The victim (47 year old male) was found unresponsive by family members. There were no signs of foul play at the scene.

On 03-21-13 the above listed individual was stopped for speeding on Interstate 25 mm 272. Upon contact with the driver he displayed signs of impairment. The driver was unable to perform the Standardized Field Sobriety test. The driver also refused to submit to chemical testing. The driver was booked into the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility accordingly.

There were no signs of forced entry to the residence. This incident is currently under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.

On 3/21/13 deputy was advised to contact victim via telephone. Victim stated on 3/18/12 and 3/19/13 between the hours of 2000 hours and 1000 hours unknown suspect(s) gained unauthorized entry through the unlocked door of her vehicle. Victim stated that unknown suspect(s) stole her credit/debit card. Victim stated that her bank contacted her and advised her that her account was overdrawn by $500.00. No other items were taken from the vehicle.

Victim reports sometime between March 19, 2013 9:30pm and March 20, 10:15pm unknown suspect(s) gained unlawful forced entry into the above location. Entry was gained through a window. Once inside the above items were taken. Case still pending further investigation.

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance
On the above date and time a Detention Officer found 13 strips of Suboxone in one of the jail cells. It was found the narcotics belonged to the above suspect. She was booked and charged accordingly on the above charge without further incident.

On 03-20-13 Deputies were dispatched to a crash on Airport Road and Paseo Del Sol. Upon arrival contact was made with the above individual displayed signs of impairment. The above individual admitted to consuming several alcoholic beverages. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest. The driver was placed under arrest and submitted to a breath test with results being twice the legal limit. The above individual was booked accordingly into the Santa Fe County Adult Facility accordingly.
